It's common knowledge that Michu is on £40k a week and Bony on £58k a week. We have to decide do we stand still or try to progress. We bought Bony for £12m and yet people seem to suggest we can't afford more. We had £59m from Sky and the PL in August 2013. We will get approx.£99 million this August plus the £3.5m from Europa league. We've made £46m profit in 3 years. Sorry for all the maths but that's just short of £150 million in the coffers. Yes use it wisely but we were in danger of relegation for a while and it's no good going down with multi millions in the bank. We need to go for good quality players as we did with Bony and get rid of the utter dross like Ngog, Lita, Vasquez, Amat and others. | | | |
