ngbqpr, was just about to put the 'godfather ' up!!
rap / hip hop , even some electro was quality in the years 1983 to the early nineties..then lost its way a bit imo.
oh well , back to work...

Big shame, It takes two is one of my all time favourite tunes - cannot believe he was only 46.
Sad news. Also one of my favourite hip hop tunes remember coming back from Germany in 88 and hearing this at a party a week or so later - can't believe I'm only a few months younger than him :-(
Was good that in the early days of raves you could have house, garage and proper hip hop all played together.
Apart from Big Daddy Kane and 45 King I always liked these two

agree lost it way after early 90's with it going pop of even the underground stuff all sounding the same either the porduction or rapping style. I have all the electro albums etc. Lucky I still buy records stuff I missed out on or artists releasing material that never came out back in the day like this BDK track with Ultramagentic on the b side
Yes I've created a realistic mirage in my garage That one day chubb will be large Not large in the sense that I'll be immense But my financial status and my pockets will be the fattest around
i will get this garden finished!!
