Anyone who cannot see that we have improved immensely under him is clearly deluded. Slowly we are starting to get to where we need to be and lets try to remember how little experience he has got. Martinez and Rodgers were hardly the most experienced of managers but look what they have achieved. If there are players causing problems I am sure this will be addressed during the summer. I for one would be satisfied if he keeps his job next season (the way things are going).

Performances have improved for the most part under Monk. Results, until today, have sadly not reflected this. |
Have they? it's deceptive for me, we're that little bit faster on the ball, but with no more overall quality in the performance than at any other time of the season IMO. I guess it all depends on what people want to see from the players in a game. |  |

Monk is on his way of doing the job that was the goal of keeping us in the league BUT ultimately we should be in this position 2/3 games back.
The players are there to achieve it and Monk's inexperience has lasted the job out a little longer than needed BUT he has installed the Swansea way back into the play. Positives and negatives to take from his leadership but a few to many negatives have risen for me to suggest he has the job fully.
He has 3 games left and for me, if I or the board have any thought on him getting it full time the he has to hit 40 points to be in with a chance. |  |

Your second sentence is not correct. There are quite a few on here that have an agenda against Monk. I don't want him in charge next season but I'll support him in his role until the end of his tenure. |  |

Let's not get carried away .Yes it was a great result today and the relief of being safe is immeasurable.
But it is only our third win in fourteen games since Gary Monk took over.He will get a massive bonus for keeping us up,but to consider going forward next year with him as manager is not ,to my mind, a serious option.
Now we need to look for the right person immediately and appoint him ready for the start of the close transfer season.
We need new players and a clear out.We need to plan now. |

A summer clear out with no Europe next season will allow us to refocus. It is 12 from 11 rather than 9 from 10 on the basis that wins count. We are 6 points clear of bottom 3 now compared to just 2 points when ML left. I would much rather our position now than it was then. | | | |

GM has improved Bony - playing in a slightly different role coming deeper and more into the overall game, Routledge - playing with confidence, and brought on Emnes 9and Ngog) in a bid to support Bony a little more and dropped Canas and Poz.
That is about it and it coul have been better, could also have been a lot worse, sniping is meaningless as he will be judged at the end of the season |  | | |
