I'm going to sign off whilst starting page 8 with my Pommy / Phase II, Reachin moment which for me was Criminal Minds, Baptised by DUB. Blew my fcukin mind to hear that track again. It transported me back to my favourite clubbing days when I used to go to Sterns in Worthing. I've actually mentioned this on here before because I've been forever searching for a copy of a DJ Druid / Hector C mix tape that I used to have. I can't find it anywhere online and this was one of the many awesome tracks on it with DJ Druid MCing over it. Would love to be able to get hold of a copy of it again...
London was great, undoubtedly, I went to several clubs a few times but living in Sussex at the time, the place to be and go was undoubtedly Sterns. The venue was awesome, the 3 floors were great, the vibe was "friendly" and the after club car park with the big white fcuk off van with the big black fcuk off speakers in the back pumping out tunes until the sun came up was actually the highlight. Happy Days!

Just an afterthought really.
HA!!! Just like the old days your 'Downer' has disapeared by the end of Wednesday and you are now up for it and looking forward to Friday and the weekend.

Perhaps we should Boycott the Football and take up Disco's idea of a LFW Acid House meet you never know it could be the 3rd summer of Love
And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

The first I've hardly heard since the early 90's but the second is a personal favourite and was played many a time until the early naughties. It's a fcukin timeless classic, imo;

A couple of Legends classics again here (not sure if Ann Consuelo been up already, think it has)
Graeme Park with an absolute stormer of a mix for some of Ealing's finest
And my mate Macca's personal favourite
(Used to get the gaff doing the fast hand clap and double whistle)
I put forward a motion -- 10 pages and we are out?!

And my DJ'ing partner in crime used to love dropping this one..
All lights out, big blast of smoke, then just the strobe going until the base kicked in after what felt like an eternity and queue madness!

I wasnt a big fan of The Gardening Club -- probably due to a bit of grief off the doorman once. I do remember meeting a fellow Range in there with a group of us once... who knows could've been your goodself.
I know what you mean about that feeling. Walked into one of the smaller tents at Energy in a similar pickle just as this one came on, I thought I'd landed on a planet I never wanted to leave!
Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

And for those of you thinking "Why the fook is this thread still going?!?!"
Well the sun is shining, Rangers are crap and we are STILL harking back to those great days with a weekend approaching
So if you think this is coming to an end then I'll say:-
was a huge fan of oakenfold and the label in its heyday 1996-2000.
perfecto was a fine label as was its offshoot 'perfecto flouro' for harder trancy stuff.
used to go to cream and his resident in the 'courtyard' once a month back in 96/97
Best clubs for me were 'whoop it up' at the velvet rooms , turnmills ' the gallery'
'tyrant' at the end club a sasha night, and the cross .
probably and old git whose stuck in the past..im old enough to have gone to the wag in its heyday as well ,when house was first hitting london..dress code black 501's with flying jackets and rick astley haircuts.
we started seeing these kids coming in with long hair and dungarees hugging in corners ..we'll have some of that we thought!.
i went from being a showroom dummy in brylcreem, a £250 World service belted jacket(world service clothing was the pre runner to 'william hunt', which is now just a faded clothing brand compared to its origins)to a prehistoric dinosaur overnight.
then tie dye made an apperance..
the double cd for the above changes hands for up to £100...i have two copies sad old git that i am.and the individual 12"s as well!!
"the soul of an angel , touched from above, your spirit is shining, surrounded by love"
#space brothers 'shine'
oh well back to working in the garden...
