No Experience 10:16 - Feb 7 with 931 views | domtu7 | I know I posted a recent thread regarding Ngog from the same site. But now a ""Secret"" Journalist has commented on the club. saying that hiring Monk is a recipe for disaster. Here is the link ( http://www.thesecretfootballer.com/articles/the-secret-journalist/15355/journos- Does anybody actually know who these people/columnists are and how they can get away with writing without any solid evidence?!

No Experience on 10:21 - Feb 7 with 888 views | Darran | I was just reading the 38 game season thread and I was thinking to myself how anyone can be happy or disappointed when a manager is appointed when absolutely no f*cker knows what lies ahead.

No Experience on 10:30 - Feb 7 with 832 views | perchrockjack | sorry... contd. Gym as he was making exactly the same point, viz Little Swansea who the feck do they think they are etc. Well, we are SCFC and to me that s something way more precious than the reputation of a very good player from another era. We really should not accept second best and the Board seem to agree

No Experience on 10:49 - Feb 7 with 775 views | icecoldjack | A lot of shite being written about us in the press at the moment,I hope the players use it as motivation . As Darren says nobody knows what will happen with monk in charge,it may be inspired it many not be. I do know that laudrup gave us our best season in our history last year and we should thank him for that ,if we didn't have major injuries this year I believe we would be 6/7 points further ahead and it would all be plain sailing, it's a shame it ended the way it did but the more we dig at laudrup the more classless we come across as jacks, one thing us fans have always been is fair minded, what is different nowadays is the shear magnification of media and vested media interests, this is twisting the situation to serve a sensationalist agenda. I hope us swans fans see it and don't go down the same road as our 6 fingered cousins blaming everyone from the tea lady to the players and board. It's done and dusted ,time to get behind monk and re light the passion that served us so well when we first stepped into this level. A lot of swans fans have only ever seen success, this has also tainted people's view point on the situation, it will all come out in the wash ,just like the Leon knight story....
No Experience on 11:01 - Feb 7 with 738 views | headcleaner | I think Laudrup had sucked the energy from a lot of the club and it's supporters and whoever commented that we were sleep walking towards relegation was spot on. All we wanted and I bet so did half the players was for him to show a little emotion one way or the other. When we beat united at mold trafford he was nonplussed when we got turned over at wet spam he was nonplussed. By all accounts he never ever raised his voice with the players and never pointed out individual errors or bigged up an individual. I imagine Garry (with two R's) will be the opposite and will big up players. Put his arm round certain individuals and rollock others. he will know he's no idiot and I liked how he deflected certain questions and in his mind knows what he has to do. I'd imagine the first thing was the double training because the players weren't fit enough which might indicate why they were picking up muscle injuries and being athletes it wont take much to improve that. We'll also see come saturday what tactics he is going to employ. I don't think for a minute it will be ground breaking or a great change but I do expect to see wingers going down the line which in turn will be good for Bony something Laudrup was way too stubborn to change. We shall see. C'mon the monkster
No Experience on 12:43 - Feb 7 with 621 views | mark555 | Laudrup was one of the worlds best as a player but as a manager he's still to make his name at the top table. When there is a serious breakdown between chairman and manager realistically one has to go and rarely it will be the chairman especially if he owns shares in the club as well. Levy- Redknapp Tan- Malky Abromovich- Mourinho (1st time) Hicks Gillett- Benitez | | | | Login to get fewer ads
No Experience on 14:47 - Feb 7 with 507 views | perchrockjack | get crosses into Bony and I fear for opposition teams. If Michu can join up with him soon they are going to make a lot of people choke . Bony to his credit has put his hand up when things haven't been good-which they haven't. If this guy is energised then we ve got a monster -a good one- on our hands. Just a shame the back up strikers are so limited so a lot ,if not all. depend on keeping him sweet. I think Monk will do this as a priority. Its surely no that difficult and I agree with the previous post entirely. it may then be apparent just how much Laudrup has actually help us back. Maybe. Anyway its onwards and upwards
