A good move as Gary has been a great servant to the club. However I am with Rob on this one. The timing is odd, appalling even, as SSN are crawling all over it looking to undermine ML. The timing could have been better and we now need HJ and / or ML to clarify the situation. I.e. where does GM sit in the coaching structure.

If this appointment is true then thank fhcuk is all i can say, because imo he'd be an excellent defensive coach which is exactly what we need right now.
