Strikers score as Dale win 3-0 at Fleetwood
Goals from Chris O'Grady, John-Louis Akpa Akpro and Joe Thompson eased Dale to a 3-0 victory at Fleetwood as Keith Hill played a potential starting eleven for the Hartlepool game.
Reports from the Lancashire coast suggest this was a highly comfortable victory by Dale, with Dale following more of a 4-3-3 formation. It would appear to have done the trick as the home side offered little, and all three up front for Dale getting on the scoresheet,
It is believed that no subs were used by Dale throughout the game with no places in the Dale squad for trialists Lucas Akins or David Buchanan.
Dale: Josh Lillis, Scott Wiseman, Joe Widdowson, Craig Dawson, Marcus Holness, Brian Barry-Murphy, Gary Jones, Jason Kennedy, Joe Thompson, Chris O'Grady, John-Louis Akpa Akpro. Subs: Danny Edwards, Reece Gray, Danny O'Donnell, Alan Goodall, Matty Done, Matt Flynn
