TEAM NEWS : Swansea City v Rotherham United

Russell Martin desperately needs a decent win and Rotherham United are in a relegation dogfight. A win for the Swans will give the teams around the Millers a welcome boost. Any win will give Russell Martin a welcome sigh of relief.

Indications of a reprieve for Jamie Paterson could see him on the bench but we understand there’s more to iron out for that to happen. Morgan Whittaker who scored against Stoke City is expected to start. The only issue for the Swans is who goes in to the midfield if Oli Cooper doesn’t make the starting line up. It’s been a long six days for the Swans to wait to right the shocking wrongs of last weeks home defeat.

Joel Latibeaudiere, Olivier Ntcham and Kyle Naughton are all hopeful of starting places.

Rotherham have nine points and just two defeats have come from their most recent seven outings, providing the Yorkshire side with the foundations to kick on during an important period of the season. They defeated Sunderland 2-1 at home last time out. Grant Hall is out for Rotherham so Lee Peltier could revert to make shift centre half.
