Big Swansea City support to travel to Rotherham ‘Ticket News ‘
With only one day to go before the new Championship season starts this morning is your last chance to purchase tickets for tomorrows opener at the New York stadium, Rotherham. Tickets will be taken off sale at 10am this morning.
The good news is that if you cannot get to the stadium and obviously the post can’t help you now then you can pick your tickets up from the ticket office at Rotherham tomorrow. The club have finalised the following information this morning. ‘It will be possible for supporters who buy tickets online before 10am Friday to collect these from the Swansea.com Stadium ticket office until 5pm on Friday. Any uncollected tickets will be available to collect from the ticket office at Rotherham United’
Great news if you are still to get a ticket as there will be no tickets available on the day from Rotherham to purchase.
It isn’t too late yet to get your tickets and if needs be have the peace of mind to know your tickets will be in Rotherham for you. Out of the 1,800 or so tickets allocated to Swansea City fans only around 320 remain as of yesterday evening. An extra allocation was given to Swansea City on Tuesday by Rotherham. It’s the season opener and for swans fans there are mixed feelings on the season ahead, however any football fan, even one who supports the most unlikeliest of teams will look at this weekend as the opening game to give their team a lot of hope for the next forty five battles to come.
Hope springs eternal in all of us. Especially for Wales top football club. Who are we ?

Jack Butty on the Swans : The scurvy & the detritus of a wasted year The bedraggled, bespectacled, and befuddled figure walked along the shoreline in desperate dismay. Four points from six as the Swans battle hard for a point at Deepdale Scrappy it may have been at times but both sides put in maximum effort in this encounter beneath the lights in Preston. It won’t be remembered as the finest game of football, but you really do get the feeling this was a game the Swans would have lost before Luke Williams departure.
