Southampton’s hunt for Mauricio Pellegrino has been reported repeatedly both in Spain and England over the past few days, and an outcome could be imminent.
Spanish newspaper Marca claim the deal is close to completion, and the manager is ‘on the verge’ of becoming Southampton’s new boss.
They claim the club have gone in strong for the 45-year-old and he’s about to sign a long-term contract at the Premier League side.
Marca also say Saints will announce Pellegrino’s arrival within ‘the coming hours’.
Keep your eyes peeled on the Official site tonight Saints fans and we all know how the club like a late night announcement.
