2700 Backing The Swans At Chelsea
The Swans will head to Chelsea this evening backed by a travelling support of 2700 as they bid to upset the odds on the first day of the season for the second year running.
The mixture of the Swans excellent 'True to 22' initiative and the big of the first game of the season will see the excellent turn out that will ensure the voice of the travelling Jack Army is heard loud and proud when the Sky cameras start rolling for the 5.30pm kick off.
The first game of the season is always something special as people up and down the country turn back to watch the teams that they last saw in competitive action back in May and for the Swans it is the 5th season in a Premier League that they were only expected to grace for one year.
One thing we have learned though over those five years is that we have a habit of upsetting the big boys and of course that we have a brilliant support that turns out in numbers to watch the team - a support that is probably generally undermentioned by those in the media.
So a safe trip to those who are making the trip to Chelsea today, be loud, proud and positive and hopefully come back home with a point or three in our control again.
Football is back!

Swans in another goal glut game but no finishing power If we look at the players who just are not performing for the Swans then three new bodies are needed come January. Swans v Pompey : An odd connection & pre match chatIt’s match day again, when you play on a Wednesday they really come round quickly. After today v Portsmouth at the Swansea.com (3pm) the Swans will have a week off … before travelling to Luton for a game next Saturday.
