BJB Day 60

Party Time In The BJB House

Home > Story Index >Day 60 In The Big Jack Brother House

21.07.03 - 9.00am - The housemates are awoken by an alarm call from Big Jack Brother. They are all asked to go into the garden where BJB will give them details of a surprise that they will receive today.
21.07.03 - 9.22am - The surprise for the day is a party tonight to celebrate their time in the Big Jack Brother house. Leon gets excited by the thought of a party and hopes that there will be jelly and ice-cream and pass the parcel. Jason warns that it will end in tears as all parties have an accident and it usually involves him. Myra mutters under her breath that Jason must have been an accident full stop.
21.07.03 - 10.19am - Although BJB will provide the housemates with the materials that they need for a party, the food must be prepared first. Leon takes a trip to the diary room as he wants a rabbit mould for the blancmange whilst Myra is left chopping onions. As the tears stream down her face James remarks that the same always happens to him when he is chopping onions but Myra responds to say that she is actually crying at the number of season tickets that must have been issued this year without her.
21.07.03 - 11.42am - The housemates are sat on the sofas discussing the fact that tomorrow they will have spent two months in the Big Jack Brother house. They recall some of the people that have been in the house with them and the various traits that they had. Fondly they walk into the bedroom to take a look at John Williams' bed where he spent so much time and also remember John Hollins saying to him "If you weren't asleep you'd be awake" And of course there was Leighton James who was always right or so he thought when he told Williams that he could cure his sleeping patterns. Better men than Leighton have tried that one but of course you couldn't get Leighton to admit that there were better men than him.
21.07.03 - 12.49pm - Big Jack Brother delivers the barbeque on which the housemates will cook the food later. Jason Smith tries in vain to light it to 'warm it up' but only succeeds with third degree burns to his hand.
21.07.03 - 4.03pm - James Thomas has taken over the barbeque duties. He is at the moment cooking three burgers, a trio of chicken wings and one less than four sausages. Leon is severely annoying him by asking every two minutes "Is it ready yet James, is it ready yet James" James eventually shoves a sausage in his mouth to shut him up.
21.07.03 - 5.19pm - As part of the party, the housemates have been allowed to choose one CD single each which they can have until 10pm tonight to play. Jason has chosen "I will survive" by Gloria Gaynor whilst Leon has gone for "Eh-oh" by the teletubbies. James has gone for "Simply The Best" by Tina Turner whilst Myra has gone for "My Way" because it reminds her of when music was real music. The housemates let her play it quickly before she heads back down memory lane.
21.07.03 - 8.42pm - After much nagging the housemates have agreed that Leon can play musical chairs with them. Jason sets it up but soon realises that he has done it wrong as there are thirteen chairs for the four of them at the moment. James is first out with three chairs left and Myra goes onto win the game. However, this upsets Leon greatly and Myra pretends to fall off the chair so he can win. Sadly, Myra has fallen off onto Jason Smith and cracked seven of his ribs in the process.
21.07.03 - 10.58pm - The party is still going strong although the music has been taken back off the housemates. The food is all gone but as with all parties there is someone there that should go to bed that won't. In the end Myra has to tell Leon that it is well past his bed-time and he should go or he won't be allowed out to play tomorrow. Leon agrees to go providing the rest come to the bedroom with him as he is scared of the dark.
21.07.03 - 11.43pm - The end of another day - just four more remain in the BJb experience. You can vote for who you want to win by using the form below - in two days time the housemate with the least votes will be evicted with the winner being announced on Day 64.
