BJB Day 59

What Exactly Is The Meaning Of Life?

Home > Story Index >Day 59 In The Big Jack Brother House

20.07.03 - 9.11am - The housemates are all up and enjoying a breakfast of scrambled eggs on toast prepared by Jason. It actually started out as fried eggs on toast but went slightly wrong and of course the toast was burnt.
20.07.03 - 10.27am - Conversation has got a little heavy in the house as the housemates discuss the meaning of life. Jason believes that the meaning of life is to live a happy and healthy life and cannot figure out why James is therefore calling him a failure. Leon believes that he is too young to understand the meaning of life but he thinks it has something to do with Thomas The Tank Engine.
20.07.03 - 11.34am - The talk has now moved from the meaning of life to why people were put on this earth. James believes that he was put here in the main to score three goals against Hull on May 3 2003. He however has not got an answer of why he is still here when he has done what he was designed to do. Myra believes that she was put on this earth to show that there is life after 50 (and way beyond) whilst Jason was put here to keep the NHS alive.
20.07.03 - 12.18pm - The housemates have made an improvised tennis court in the garden. As a net they are using several of Myra's hair nets joined together whilst they have melted down some cheese to form a ball and then hardened it in the oven. The equipment is completed with saucepans as tennis racquets. They are playing a game of mixed doubles - Leon & Myra against James and Jason.
20.07.03 - 1.13pm - James and Jason have won the first set. The set point was converted when James lobbed Leon for the decisive point in the tie-break. It was a strange lob even by James' standards when the 'ball' only just made it above net height.
20.07.03 - 2.04pm - Leon and Myra are staging a fightback. James and Jason's cause is not helped by a slight thigh injury to Jason caused when Myra smashed the ball right into it on break point. Myra reveals that the secret of her success on the tennis course is down to her secretly having a Playstation 2 with a tennis game at the back of the club shop. She advises that she is also a Whizz at Fifa 2002, and Super Ninja Fighter.
20.07.03 - 3.24pm - The tennis has gone to a deciding set and at present it is 4 games all in the decider. However, the game has to be abandoned when Myra tries a high lob and a low flying seagull grabs the 'ball' and flies off into the distance. Jason refuses to let the game continue using the testicle that dropped off earlier on.
20.07.03 - 8.19pm - Myra has cooked the group a meal based on a tribute to some of the housemates that have left the house. They are having a traditional Russian starter of treble vodkas (for Nick), followed by A Big Mac meal (only £3.99 in tribute to Peter), Upside Down Cake (in tribute to John Williams) and CAC (In tribute to Reeco - Cheese and Crackers for the uneducated!)
20.07.03 - 10.48pm - The housemates are heading to bed. All have to clean their teeth first and they look on enviously as Myra takes the easy option and takes hers out to put them in a glass!
20.07.03 - 11.35pm - The end of another day in the BJB House. In just 5 days we will announce the overall winner of Big Jack Brother and you are invited to cast your votes for who you would like to see win.
