BJB Day 57

Eviction Time Comes Around Again

Home > Story Index >Day 57 In The Big Jack Brother House

18.07.03. - 10.39am - Day 57 in the BJB House and the morning of the eighth eviction from the house. At the end of today, one of the five housemates will be leaving the house leaving just four of them to battle it out for the title of Big Jack Brother winner 2003.
18.07.03 - 11.43am - The housemates are being called to the diary room one by one to tell BJB how they would feel if they were evicted tonight. None of them want to go this week and Leigh even went as far to say that he would organise a protest if he were evicted which would involve him chaining himself to Myra just like she used to do at Greenham Common.
18.07.03 - 3.24pm - Leigh is all excited as he has found a money spider in the BJB garden. It does not go down to well though with Myra as she stands on a chair to get away from it.
18.07.03 - 7.28pm - Less than one hour to the next eviction from the house and the housemates are getting changed ready for the big event. Jason is polishing his crutches specially for the occasion whilst Leon is putting on his best Tweenies T-Shirt. The housemates are also discussing the words for the song that the four remaining people will perform tomorrow night.
18.07.03 - 8.27pm - With the announcement imminent, James is telling the housemates that if he goes now he has enjoyed his time in the house so much he will score a goal for each of them before Christmas. All of them lobs from the halfway line. Leigh vows to donate £10 for each housemate to the trust coffers whilst Jason confirms that he will suffer one injury for each of them next season.
18.07.03 - 8.47pm - Announcement time. For the eighth time, the voice comes into the house "Housemates, you are live on JackArmy.net, please do not swear. All wee the public have been voting and I can now reveal that the eighth person to be evicted from the Big Jack Brother house is..................."
18.07.03 - 8.48pm - "................Leigh Dineen. Leigh you have just over one hour to say your goodbyes, you are coming out." Leigh makes the statement that he has been waiting eight weeks to say "It's been fun but I now have a personal mission to find out who voted for me and demand that they contribute to the 'loot for Leigh' campaign which will pay Myra's wages for the next twelve months."
18.07.03 - 10.22pm - Fifty seven days since he entered the house and Leigh heads back to the outside world leaving just four people in the house. In one week's time the house will become empty as the winner leaves. The four remaining housemates share a toast (Leon gets confused as he says he prefers soldiers to toast) to the fact that they have all survived into the final week.
18.07.03 - 11.14pm - The housemates head to bed at the end of another eviction day. They decide that they can all share the same bedroom now to which Leon agrees but only if he can bring his Mickey Mouse night light with him as he gets scared otherwise.
18.07.03 - 11.42pm - As the housemates drift off into the land of nod, we open the voting for the last time. It's different this week though you are voting for the person that you would like to see win Big Jack Brother. Cast your vote using the form below. The person with the least votes will be evicted on Day 62, the remaining three housemates will then leave in reverse order on Day 64, the grand finale of Big Jack Brother - get voting now!
