Whatever Happened To... Adrian Coote
Coote joined the U's for a then record £50,000 from Norwich City in December 2001, but was released by mutual consent in October 2003, having made 36 appearances and scoring four goals.
After leaving Layer Road he stayed local dropping into the non-league scene and joining Wivenhoe Town on non-contract terms. He later signed an 18-month contract with the Dragons, but by the summer was transfer listed and by the end of the year he was released from his contract at Broad Lane, allowing him to move to Dereham Town in the Eastern Counties League.
His time at Dereham was short and come the summer he moved across Norfolk, joining Wroxham in the same league in July 2005. After a season a Wroxham, he was given a one-year contract extension, but attempted to sign for Gorleston - the move was not ratified and he ended up moving there a year later without appearing for Wroxham again in between.
Since his time at Gorleston, he has gone on to play for Carpathians in the Yarmouth and District League and Sunday league teams.
Away from football, he has worked for Aviva and appeared on Channel Four's Countdown on 2009.

Swansea City proved their worth as head coach Vitor Matos set his depleted side up to exploit the Watford midfield and press relentlessly throughout this game. The days of hanging on for a 1-0 win to be thwarted at the end of halves seems to be a thing of the past, at least for now. The determination was there with Ethan Galbraith on the bench and Melker Widell (out injured) there were a few raised eyebrows at this Swansea selection.

The news this morning of Leo Walta a player at IK Sirius in the Allsvenskan league in Sweden surfaced much to the displeasure of Swansea City FC. The Swans have done a bit of shopping around Northern Europe since Adam Worth took over as the main recruitment man at Swansea. It is a goldmine at times for clubs willing to put the work in to bring in players.

Swansea City will certainly look to their EFL Championship fixture on Saturday (3pm) Vicarage Road against Watford as the turning point for their poor away form under head coach, Vitor Matos.
