Refwatch: Dale v Wimbledon
Saturday, 17th Mar 2018 10:42 by TVOS

Poulton-le-Fylde referee Scott Oldham will make his second Crown Oil Arena appearance of the season on Saturday when Dale entertain AFC Wimbledon.

The self-employed joiner took charge of Dale’s 1-0 home defeat of Bristol Rovers in October, although on that occasion he was a late replacement for the injured Tom Nield.

The 36-year-old is in his first season on the National List and has had a busy campaign so far, refereeing 28 matches up and down the country.

He has clocked-up plenty of miles on the M6 and beyond, taking charge of games in such diverse locations as Carlisle, Cheltenham, Charlton and Lincoln!

Scott spent last season refereeing in the National League, having been an assistant referee in the Football League for the seven campaigns prior to that.

He appeared at several Dale matches in that time, including our 4-1 home defeat of Hereford in September 2009 and the 2-2 draw at Crewe three months later.

Mr Oldham’s full record of Dale games is:

As an assistant:

Sep 2009 Rochdale v Hereford, W 4-1

Dec 2009 Crewe v Rochdale, D 2-2

Feb 2011 Tranmere v Rochdale, D 1-1

Jan 2012 Tranmere v Rochdale, D 0-0

Feb 2012 Rochdale v Bournemouth, W 1-0

Aug 2012 Rochdale v Northampton, D 0-0

Aug 2014 Rochdale v Bristol C, D 1-1

Apr 2015 Rochdale v Leyton Orient, W 1-0

Oct 2015 Rochdale v Coventry, D 0-0

Jan 2016 Walsall v Rochdale, W 3-0

As a referee:

Oct 2017 Rochdale v Bristol R, W 1-0
