Refwatch: Dale v Northampton
Thursday, 30th Mar 2017 20:19 by TVOS

Mark Haywood will make the trip from Wakefield to take charge of Dale’s home game against Northampton on Saturday.

This will be his first appointment at the Crown Oil Arena since October 2015 when he refereed the 0-0 home draw with Coventry.

However, we have already seen Mark this season as he was in the middle for Dale’s FA Cup second round tie at Carlisle.

Mr Haywood has been a regular fixture at our matches since joining the league list in 2006 and Saturday will be his 21st Rochdale appointment in that time.

His full list of Dale games is:

Oct 06 Wrexham (a, JPT) D 1-1 (won on pens)

Apr 07 Barnet (h) L 0-2

Jul 07 Oldham (h, Rose Bowl) W 2-1

Referee has been changed today to Ross Joyce, who took charge of the games at Bristol Rovers and Bradford earlier in the season.
