I expect a depleted crowd today....I'm gutted can't be there but my bum will be counted as a season ticket holder.
We need a win today and some signings by end of Monday otherwise I suspect season ticket renewals will be well down |

there have been many over the years, Bobby Moore Bobby Charlton, Bryan Robson started well but failed......
Lampard hasn't had that great a managerial record to date let's hope that continues especially Saturday |

I've read we have been tracking him for a while and have decided to secure his signature now before his stock rises .
Not sure he is seen as an immediate replacement for Grimes.
With maybe us only paying a deposit meaning we have more funds for immediate players and once the window is shut and sums done maybe then Williams will be put on garden leave .
But it does all seem to strange to be splashing the cash and not having the player until next season |

I wouldn't put it past Williams to put Naughton as DM or even play him in a 3 between Cabango and Darling/Delcroix. |

The sooner fans realise that the better.
There are some who have that loyalty but pretty few and far between these days money talks.
But then look back to the days of locals like Cliff Jones,Terry Medwin,Ivor they all left for the money and you couldn't blame them.

Do we know if this request was a result of initial Coventry approaches being turned down?
Was this transfer born out of Coventry targeting Grimes or Grimes' agent touting him out as he wanted out of our club? |

It said for this season
The money coming in for him is more than helpful but not for this years profit and sustainability. These figures will be factored in next year.
Any monies received this window will be included in this year's P and L so will impact on the final result at year end hopefully reducing the losses we have seen and keep us under the PSL threshold.
The article implies the monies for Grimes,Whittaker and Joseph Abdullai won't count which is wrong but quite rightly paying off Williams and staff will have a huge negative cost effect so currently the club are hogtied |
