Had to be done and, frankly, it should have been done after the Blackburn debacle. Smashing bloke, but genuinely not good enough for this level and the style of football was truly awful. |

So, it already looks like we’re resigned to League 1 football next season. I can’t remember another season where a team that stayed up the year before started out as such overwhelming favourites to be relegated. |

They play when they want to. But most of the time the whole team seems totally disinterested. There are some bad teams out there, but they still field 11 players who try. They get beaten because other teams are better than them. We get beat by teams who should have no business laying a glove on us because none of them can be bothered to even try. We just seem to field 11 players who really don’t give a ****. |

My thoughts, for what it's worth. These kind of performances are becoming more and more the norm with this club rather than the exception. It doesn't matter who is in charge, what tactics or formations are employed, it's still the same end product. Players looking totally disinterested, players shying away from any sort of contact or 50/50 balls, nobody taking any responsibility and all of them looking like they don't want to be here and absolutely don't want to play football anymore. Yes, if we play like that this season we will go down and it’s highly likely we’ll be lucky to get a point all season, or even score a goal. And yes, Ainsworth would be sacked after about 8 games if that happens. But I really don't know what difference it would make. They've turned in performances like this for Warburton, Beale, Critchley and Ainsworth. None of them could stop this happening let alone stop it happening far too often. Results like today are now results you kind of expect to happen with this club but hope that they actually won't happen. I can't put it any other way, really. I have genuinely never seen a group of footballers on this planet who appear to care less than this lot. Of course, it would be the most QPR thing ever to go out next week and beat Watford. But even if they do, I'm just used to the reality that another result like today's woodshed beating isn't far away. |

Based on what I saw today at Oxford, yes, well prepared for relegation. But that doesn’t mean to say that’s what’s actually going to happen once the games start being played for real. |

Brilliant feeling. One I never thought possible at 2:59pm last Saturday. |

Truly the most QPR thing ever. Only we could do this. Enjoy your write up on this one, Clive, you have truly earned it. [Post edited 22 Apr 2023 18:21]

Just have to hope this has given their fragile confidence something to build on and get some kind of result against Coventry. We still need 3 points from somewhere, anywhere. This is what it’s come down to. |

Just gobsmacked at the result and pleased with the fighting spirit they showed today. They need to do this every game now, not just once in a while, though. But, nonetheless, this result gives us some hope where, after Friday, there really looked to be none at all. |

2 wins the rest of the season? Be lucky to get 2 shots on target mate! |

I absolutely agree with this. In fact I’d rather they relegate us now and not make us have to play another game this season. It’s pointless, literally, because it really doesn’t matter who the opponent is, how bad they are, what kind of abysmal form they’re in, they will beat us. With room to spare. Pretty much every sane QPR fan knew weeks ago that Wigan were guaranteed 3 points today. They’re not even hiding it anymore. They really cannot be in the least bit arsed. I’d rather L1 with players who try than this monstrosity that turns up to get turned over each week. |

Demolish Preston? This sad sack shower couldn’t demolish a wet paper bag. I never thought I could despise a QPR team as much as the 2012/13 squad. Well, it only took a decade to change my mind. |

Really feel it’s time that Clive is exempted from his post-mortem reports for the rest of the season. What more can he really say anymore? This must be so traumatic watching new levels of ineptitude surpassed each week. |

Wigan could not train for 6 months, play for free with no motivation and still beat our sad sack shower of a team! [Post edited 24 Mar 2023 19:48]

Seriously, Clive, it would be perfectly understandable if you just posted a two or three line sentence for this week’s report. The horse you’re beating died a long time ago and the worms and maggots have already feasted on the carcass and moved on. |

The result didn’t overly shock me. It was more disgust and dismay at how good we can make genuinely awful teams look. Most weekends now I shake my head because I genuinely don’t think that, if someone gave you a ‘Brewster’s Millions’ type challenge where you have to actually assemble the worst team you could possibly put together and try and lose every game you play, you’d genuinely be able to do it. Some way, somehow, they’d win games even when they were flat out trying to lose. But, this lot….. they have genuinely mastered this challenge. The only thing that amazes me is that they can consistently be the most inept, useless, disinterested bunch of professional footballers anyone on this planet will ever witness. You truly couldn’t make a worse team if your life depended on it. |

That was beautiful. Proper gritty teamwork, winning 50/50 balls and getting behind the ball as soon as possession lost. I loved it! So, so much better than the last 15 games. Aaron Drewe is going to thrive under Ainsworth. Kakkay too, he was well impressive today. |

Hi Terry Yes it’s me. Sorry, been so busy I haven’t had the time to log back on this week. Hope all is well with you. |

Hi all and sorry this is my first post, but can anyone on here see us getting even just one more point this season? I genuinely can’t. It’s reached the point that I don’t know any football team in any league on this planet that this lot could beat. I’ve already accepted that we will be in League One next season. Don’t know how the rest of you feel, but I can’t see anything but this outcome now. |
