As per the name of the podcast, genetically-speaking, there is no such thing as a fish |

The words for animals like cow, pig, deer, etc. are from the Old English, whilst the words for the meat like bacon, ham, and venison are from the French. This is due to the influence of the Normans after 1066. The French nobility introduced the words for the meat, but the English farmers maintained their language for the animals. Possibly a lot of people know that. |

Can't say I've seen him, but Nourri is here, as is Paul Morrisey, so if there are any interviews to be had it'd be easy to do it today 😜 [Post edited 20 Aug 14:10]

Currently at the open Training day at Loftus Road. In the UK for a couple of weeks and this was the only thing that aligned with my stays in London. Looks like a fairly good attendance. |

Yeah, living on Vancouver Island I have the same issue as you. I will be getting up at 4:30am, however, since it is the first of the season and I am bang up for it. Also, with the Sky TV rights, I think it is something that we have to get used to on a semi-regular basis. 0-0 |

Just finished Necropolis: London and it's Dead by Catharine Arnold which looks at the history of burials and the way that death has been treated since the Roman times, which was very interesting. My favourite book in recent times was The Bookseller of Florence by Ross King, a non-fiction story about Vespasiano da Bisticci, a bookseller in Renaissance Florence, covering such topics as the history of that time, the manufacturing of scrolls and books, the advent of the printing press and the history of the rediscovered classics of the time, Cicero, Plato, Livy, etc. I love Florence so my view might be biased, but a really interesting book, covering a lot of wide and varied subjects. |

Succinct answer - no one knows. Doesn't appear to be in Girona. No offers yet. We may be looking into giving him a two-year contract and wouldn't stand in his way if an offer came in. |

Was listening to a Sunderland podcast (it was talking about Cifuentes) and they mentioned that their players are due back on the week of the first. I imagine ours can't be too far off that plan either, so maybe straight there? |

so, according to that piece he confessed to the crime and might be looking at 200 hours of community service. His lawyer stated " My client is at a turning point in his career. He hopes to secure a transfer to a club in the Premier League. You can't do that with a prison sentence or an ankle bracelet" Maybe he is looking to move this summer |
