| Forum Reply | Rumour of Eze to spurs for£64 million at 10:32 3 Jan 2025
Admittedly, I only really see highlights of Palace games. However, from what I have observed, Eze just isn't suited to their style. They constantly go long, use the wings and put in high crosses to the big guys up top. They rarely seem to pass to Ebs and mostly choose the direct option. He needs to move IMHO but I'm not sure where, as pressing and putting yards in is not his game. |

Does anyone know if the club will be streaming the Leicester match for any overseas fans? |

Maybe now that he has built a reputation as a good keeper, we can negotiate a financially better loan deal for the club or even sell him. |

It was when Georgie lost his e for b and couldn't be bothered for the last time with them. [Post edited 31 Dec 2024 12:43]

Is that the Delaney who went on to play in the Premier league for Palace.? |

Marti, in his pre match interview seemed to say they would train on Christmas day and then get on the coach to Swansea. So I don't think dragging them out of bed came into it but being at home was a big advantage for Swansea, as, at least they could spend more Christmas day with friends and family When you think of all the games over the Christmas/New Year period you can understand why some players always seem to pick up an injury. |

I hope I'm not being prepared for both JCS and Pal to be unavailable on Sunday. Could be a back four of Ashby, Dunne, Field and Fox. |

Well we were poor, marginally better second half but Swansea on the day were brilliant. Done their homework, used the width and gave our full backs a torrid time. Hardly missed a pass. Adapted well to every tactical change by us and bossed the game throughout. Be disappointed with our non performance but credit where it's due. |

I can't say that I've noticed that with Frey. I'll watch for in the next few games. I'm not sure that Kolli consistently wins them either, although I have noticed that he sometimes gets up early and has that ability to hang in the air. Denis Law was well known for that skill. |

Tuesday morning when I'm reading this and that feeling still hasn't faded. Thanks for a truly great report which really helped with the visualisation of the ninety. Are you the younger pretender to the throne? Merry Christmas to you and Clive, wherever he may be. |

😂 Apart from a lack of pace Frey, has all the necessary qualities and is a really good striker for us. Watched him in the shooting practice during the warm ups before Saturday and every shot was thumped into the net. He didn't miss. Feed the 'beast' and he will perform. If we can keep him fit, Marti will look after him, rotate him with the younger lads and Michi will play his part. |
| Forum Reply | Was Prestons goal totally against the morals of the game at 10:07 22 Dec 2024
Agree with that Myke. That was my initial thought from my view in South Africa Rd To a previous poster, Morrison is right footed, as is Dunne whilst Fox and JCS are lefties. The goal was almost the only thing that I could stomach from Preston yesterday. Everything else about their behaviour was a disgrace, aided by a referee who failed to control them from the start. It was as if he had never heard about Preston, the kings of the 'Dark Arts'. |
