I'm predicting that come 17.00 on Monday we shall have nicked Oldham's all important forth spot then it'll be in our hands to keep or throw away ! |

The natives haven't really started to become restless just yet, discord has in the past and will in the near future been vicious and toxic thats when the board will issue their death knell, I mean vote of confidence ! |

I'm primarily responding to your "Mitchell first half when 1v1 with the keeper is horrendous" Dale 4 Life - It must be very disappointing for players when they experience what I can best describe as a dip in form, I don't wish to kick a man when he's down but we are talking relatively highly paid professional footballers here, I watch Dog and Duck Sunday league football, these lads work (and play) hard all week and pay for the privilege of playing, I realise that there's a massive gulf between professional and amateur football however, in the same situation there are 2 - 3 lads in the Sunday team which I support would have put Mitchell's "horrendous miss" away with ease, I see them do it every week! I totally agree, I'm most of all frustrated with Mitchell's more recent performances, I've said it previously he can't head the ball, he can't trap the ball, he can't hold up the ball, pass nor shoot, tap in's from not so hard crosses were his forte in the not to distant past , even the crosses which he solely relied seem to have dried up, with out the required service he'd struggle to be selected for the Dog and Duck starting eleven at the moment ! |

I've suggested this previously that the loan Keeper Barrett seems to me to prefer to cushion his dives with his hands and arms rather that attempt to block and/or catch the ball, has anyone else noticed this ? |

Excellent Sandyman, I thoroughly agree with everything you've posted here, I'd like you add that pre match I suggested that Spennymoor would come to the COA all guns blazing looking to win the game whilst Dale would be instructed to play tippy tappy tripe....... however, I have to admit that in my heart of hearts I was very confident that this morning I along with hoards of Dale fans would be making their arrangements for their visit to Wembley ! |

Well done 58 - there's no denying that you're a top Dale supporter and that you've been attending game for 58 years, I'm not sure the reason you've afforded that information however, that doesn't prevent you from being somewhat of a hot head as your response suggests, you've asked if I'm for real, I am but REAListic Dale isn't, that the point I was attempting to make when you gobbled up the bait ! |

He's a Biffo wind up merchant, most on here know that and ignore his (99.9% sure it's male of some species or other) posts, never mind you'll know next time 58 ! |

Thats just how I feel rafc1977, the same as a couple of my Dale friends feel and I'm sure that many of Dale fans feel the same, I've said it before that Big Jim doesn't do all this learning from mistakes stuff, I'm predicting that he'll dig his heels in and persist (just like he did/has with tippy tappy tripe) with EEL until he's been proven right or we loose out on winning the FA Trophy and/or pormotion, then Jim just carries on as normal, I really do hope that I'm wrong ! As you have implied bringing in EEL seems to upset our rhythm, shape and tempo (my words not yours) just when we were starting to turn the corner, the one thing that I've considered and I don't think that anyone has mentioned that EEL will be one of the top earners and that apart from him being Jim's man there may be a reluctance to pay a top earner to keep the bench warm - just a thought ! |

You're correct upon two counts Jonah, EEL isn't as good as Hogan nor Beckwith for that matter he's a bench back up for both at best, as far as Big Jim "learning lessons" he doesn't do that lesson leaning stuff, he'll dig his heels in now and play EEL until he's proven right or more than likely see us miss out on winning the FA Trophy and promotion, then he'll be in denial blaming the pitch, the ref, the opposition dark arts as usual ! |

Talking about Big Jim's post match interview Sutty have you seen John Colemans post match interview Barrow 3 - 0 Gills, if not the brace yourself ! It's about having a bit of passion and fire in your belly, which sadly Big Jim seems to have neither ! |

Hi Kel, I'm not sure how many "went running to admin" to complain however, as far as I'm concerned you made it clear to me "what this clown was up to " from the get go, although I obviously don't have the stats I strongly suspect that the majority of posters received your warning load and clear however, my primary issues is that genuine forum posters are further encouraging Biffo Boy by continuing to respond to his nonsense ! |

Totally agree Moony, RealisticLatic 33 has become seriously tiresome now, your absolutely correct he (99.9.9 % sure he's a sad excuse for a man) must surely be experiencing some perverse pleasure in posting this Nob Rot, as you say he's fooling no one, it's not for me to suggest what genuine Dale posters do or don't do, I accept that people will make their own choice however, I believe that it's time to put an end to this nonsense and that the most appropriate here and now course of action is to stop prolonging the agony and stop responding to his posts ! |

I wasn't sure where to cut in upon the subject of Realisticdale 33 - personally I think that your Enigma Code comment is rather witty so this post is as good as anywhere however, Realisic responded "Grow Up" which in my opinion is a totally illogical, pointless, meaningless response, possibly a case of any response is better than no response if one's a wind up merchant Now, is Realistic a Traitor or a Faithful thats the question ? I noticed that upon another occasion he/she ( most likely he) responded, I don't know why I'm bothering to respond, or similar Exactly, why did he/she respond if not to attempt to antagonise others ? The Realesticdale 33 saga will continue to chunner on until he becomes fed up or when genuine posters on this forum cease responding to him - just a thought ! |

"Not hard is it" very subtle 442, would there have been a "pitch update" posted upon the Forum had supporters not have been critical of the Clubs lack of communications upon the subject, people can make up their own minds, personally, maybe I'm being unfair but I'm not so sure! Historically communications from Club to supporters has been pretty poor to say the least and it doesn't seem to be improving despite longstanding, ongoing requests from supporters for improved lines of communication, Dale Bars do it excellently, it's called basic marketing stratergy however, communications from Club in general to supporters regarding issues such as the match being played or postponed is a different matter, some supporters travel hundreds of miles to attend Dale home games spending small fortunes on fuel, overnight accommodation, food, drink, match fees etc only to be disappointed, ideally they would prefer clear, early and concise communications from the Club something along the lines "the pitch is as muddy as a quagmire and will most likely be called off" (they will never say that I know it's just an example) in good time to enable those travelling supporters to cancel/postpone their plans for obvious reasons, the Club Marketing Team may well interpreted this same/similar scenario much differently, make the postponement announcement as late in the day as possible with the slightest chance the game might be played, in some cases match day tickets may have already been purchased all the better for the Marketeers , it works well with passing trade, but very a short sighted stratergy when we are talking about life long supporters who will always return although possibly less often or be reluctant/ refuse to risk wasting their hard earned cash and valuable time in the future, particularly during the winter months, has the time come that the Club might consider promoting/improving relationships with all supporters, particularly those travelling long distances through honest, stright forward and early lines of communications and a tad more thought and understanding for supporters that is the least that Dale supporters should expect ! |

I'm not stalking you Alien, you are making some good points upon this subject therefore, I shall add to your Trust Rep statement, purely my personal thoughts mind - Should one be invited to the top table from say a mid placed or far away table then one is most likely expected to act and behave the same or similar way as the top table have continued to act and behave ! I was once with you being treated badly and not being told anything , now I'm with them treating you badly.............. As I've stated, just a thought ! |

Good point Alien who is actually taking/making these decisions, again, this reeks of the us v's them attitude from the Club, the players and staff often mention the brilliant Sandy atmosphere and how this helps squad performances, or very similar therefore, tell you what we'll close the Sandy, the atmosphere never actually made any difference, so what if the Sandy regulars don't attend ! what's so difficult in the Club informing supporters the reason/s that the sandy will be closed, most supporters would/will readily accept valid reason/s, as it stands we are already learning that supporters won't be attending the Stockton match who otherwise would have ! |
