The pitch looked dry last night and there were several places in front of the west stand where divots came out of a very sandy base |

To be fair to Matt MK Don's we're bossing midfield in the first half and he never had much service although when he did he was unlucky in what would have been winning passes. |

After early morning rain the day is cloudy and windy Speaking to an Accrington supporter (who admitted they were the northern Millwall) who has watched Morecambe their problem is like ours - they just can't score . Safe travels |

Ifollow was not mentioned as an option on any of the match previews on the cufc website, which did mention programmes being available at the club shop. Bradley needs to play, accept he will be roughed up, and accept it. At times he spent more time talking to the linesman than watching the ball Great game and great result though. |
| Forum Reply | Super new U's to start with impressive win at Plough Lane at 08:27 11 Aug 2024
Sometimes management is about taking early decisions and that was lacking yesterday. The first three goals came from inadequate cover of their number 3 who we gave the freedom of the town to. If we could see it surely our management could. That said Wimbledon played a disruptive style of football that went unpunished until late into injury time, holding our players at every opportunity. The excitement of starting with 3 strikers was palpable but our goals were scored by a defender, and chasing the game in the second half we only had one shot on goal. . |

Holidays in the Sun at Manor Road gave me some extra income doing evening and weekend shifts when I needed it. I think I may have been at the Grammar with Peter Sakal - it's a name that's not that common in Colchester. |

You can see the strategy behind all of our signings. To sign boys that have had success in Essex before, that maybe have roots in Essex and the local area, is so important. Some that we've worked with before. I agree with this quote. We have in the past signed and then released players whose family lived some way away, or who couldn't settle, or even afford to live in the area In an earlier career I worked for an organisation that offered great support to newly qualified staff. We supported them then they buggered off. So we trained up our long serving support staff, and stopped recruiting from afar. |

Who would invest £350 in a play for which we don't know the cast, the subject, or the script ? That's why we are supporters, irrespective of what turns up each Saturday. |
| Forum Reply | New Parking procedure at JCS at 20:59 31 May 2024
I've not been involved in parking schemes such as this but there will be Councils who have the need to waive the charge for their own vehicles accessing their anpr controlled car parks. Does anyone have a District Council contact? I'm also up for some form of campaign to enable our away supporters to park on site for away games. I am also surprised we haven't had a holding response from Robbie. |

Durham mentioned (and I agree) that the Notts Cou ty pitch looked immaculate. Reading their programme I see it is to be completely rebuilt this summer, with underpitch heating, new drainage etc. It's around 25 years since it was first installed. |
