We seemed to want to kick all of our possession away and did it badly, too. We didn't build on the France game (and the first 60 minutes of the Ireland game), and not only did Scotland play well, but we made it easy for them.

I'm no afficionado of the oval game, but SB has seen a few generational stalwarts retire and he has a young team he's moulding, but his starting XVs always seem to change regularly as opposed to getting settled.

Still, a win is a win.

Jist seen the goals and their second emmanates from the Pepesque 'build from the back/possession' fixation that has placed a greater emphasis on defenders, and keepers, to be ballers.

Interesting article on the Beeb about Pep's tactics being bettered, by more direct play. I'm not advocating for the days of Charlie Hughes, but sometimes your defenders just need to welly the fecker and stop faffing around like a fairy!

Out of interest, were there any fan inputs on this?

I suspect I know the answer, but if there were, and it went for this, then whoever you are, you prick(s)!

If not, then I hope the club's listening. Its by far the worst of a long line of rubbish kits we're prone to donning. I thought that fuscia one a few years back the worst but this....

I was on the original .org back in the 90s, which morphed into dot.org for reasons I vaguely recall. Those early days were hilarious and maybe it was due to the innocence of us early adopters. However, the dot.org seemed to deteriorate and I moved here after Clive offered me a Fernandesesque contract.

But as for other sites, I think being on one is enough! And of the plethora that's out there, this is the most 'enlightened' and entertaining. The internet has brought is many things alas, exposure to and from people we think monstrous pricks. Here, we seem to have a lot less and we self-regulate rather well I think.

Personally, and I know it winds sum up, I love it when a thread is launched on say, 'Lack of QPR Goals', and effortlessly winds it's way to the state of Nepali butterflies via Tosca!!

That and the cheese!!!!

Every time we near the slamming shut of the TW, I approach in fear of 'Breaking News' revealing some top-top European elite club have signed you. How it's not happened already, I'll never know.

Hmm....given the size of the average South Korean, I'm going to hazard a guess the club will have a job on its hands trying to shift 7XL and 9XL sized shirts!

Moriarty's in Baker Street station for beers before, then off to Upton Park, and back again for a few more. Great bar, always had lots of fans in of different clubs and never a hint of trouble. Happy days.

Clive Allen still up there for me (Spurs 84 aside) as my fave Ranger. When I was a mere pup I worked at Sudbury Golf Club and each year we hosted the London footballers golf tournament. I ensured I went round as Allen's ref and consequently, I was on speaking terms with Clive if I saw him down at Birkbeck, LR, or when he called over to me while I was with some school mates at the London Fives. This, for a 15 year old, felt immense. He was a genuinely decent fella.

That game and that season he was on fire for us. The year prior he scored a brilliant goal up at Cambridge, and nearly scored something similar to his Upton Park goal in the season opener at OT. People often forget how bad the pitches were back then, I always think bits of skill from back in the day more special because of that, the weight of the ball, and the thuggery that defenders often got away with.

For me: a great goalscorer and also, a scorer of some great goals. The boy could finish. He just lacked pace, which is why Lineker got ahead of him. I think in the 86/87 season he scored 49 goals for Spurs which was some going back then.

A lot of clubs suddenly seem to have a diminutive, hard working, tenatious, smiling trickster from the land of the rising sun in the dressing room (Which they probably cleans up after themselves).

Japanese and South Korean players also seem to conduct themselves with the same deportment that's woven in their societies. We're lucky to have a couple.

He and the undoubted wasted talent that was Leon J., both crossed my mind. I suppose you could add Ravel to the list.

I don't doubt TR 'had' talent, clubs like City and Brighton generally don't have a bad eye for such things, it's just a shame it's ended up with him as opposed to a kid who is working their butt off to try making it.

Oh well, this saga still has some miles and pounds to go!
