| News Comment | The wrong week to quit sniffing glue – Preview at 12:29:21
I'm away at a conference and having to smile politely while a Bayern Munich fan laments the "worst season ever" after the 16-odd months we've lived thorugh was a test of patience! |
| News Comment | QPR wheel in Cannon to fire up de-fence - Signing at 20:07:14
Quite a bit less to the “Battle of Dallas” than there appears. One fan was ejected for throwing a plastic water bottle on the field, which didn’t hit anyone. In his post match interview, Cannon complains of a fan chanting USA! while the players knelt. I don’t doubt there were plenty of threats and insults afterwards but that’s an internet issue, not necessarily anything to do with Dallas. |
| News Comment | Season Preview 23/24 – Strugglers at 23:01:45
The only fans due a longer season than us are the Wednesday fans reading old mate. Plymouth up, Cardiff down. |

Thanks Jordan. I would add my highlight of the game. Nkounkou's crazy Geroge Weah charge through about 6 tackles until Johansen tripped him about 15 yards away from the box. He was cartoon-furious! |
| News Comment | Oh, Siriki Dembele - Report at 12:24:52
Mixed feelings about the fan behaviour. I was in the second-top row of the main stand, about four seats from the end of our allocation. Though there were lots of drunk Stone Island boys shouting incoherent abuse through the game, the behaviour wasn't that bad - no attempts to approach the home fans, quite mild reaction when the police came up to tell them to stop banging the back wall, even the half-time toilets were a breeze compared to Ellerslie. Admittedly, as I did my usual trick of turning up at the last possible moment, I didn't see how people behaved in confinement under the stands. I'm surprised and delighted that we have any young fans at all after the last 25 years of chaos, but it was embarrassing to see them swaggering around a friendly town like the Taliban in Tel Aviv. I would suggest they grow up a bit but they might turn out like the cretin who ran on the pitch at the goal. On a lighter note, I met Andy Tilson's cousin at a pub in the town! Apparently he's a Boro boy. |

4/10 for Toney? I’m guessing you’re not in the Bentham dataset! Kakay the sole survivor from a match day squad a little over three years ago. |
| News Comment | They came to play - Report at 22:41:26
One of those magical nights when everyone was fantastic and you wouldn’t swap any of ours for any of theirs (except Andros, maybe). |

Dael. How did his parents manage to cock that one up? Fair play to the Boro coaches who got Jones out of Tooting. Do you think they lied to him about the place or just tied him up and threw him in the boot? |
| News Comment | Anthony Gordon marks 20th birthday with ceremonial football match — Report at 19:39:27
Still, to cushion his disappointment at being subbed, he did get a hand delivered birthday card from Lionel Messi begging him to come and protect his llegacy. I thought the commentator bounced back well from the shock of his departure by prattling about the 13 boot labours of Ilias Chair. |
