bradleyorr2 Bradley Orr The illuminati,New world order!!! Events like these pointless riots make me think is this the start of the NWO? Are all these devastating
...
bradleyorr2 Bradley Orr events planned by the government? I don't know for certain but read about it on google or watch clips on YouTube and decide for yourself,
um? I hope he starts talking about reptilians soon.
It's weird, but some people just kind of "look" like the jobs they do. I was watching the football league show on iplayer this morning (bad habits), and kept thinking how a lot of the managers just looked like they should be doing something else.
Sven Goran Eriksson, Head of Finance at a medium sized company
Sean Dyche - part time pro-wrestler, part time TV hard man
Bit niche this, but following this up from family who wanted me to ask. My parents live in north Gloucestershire, and a friend of their's say there's a pocket of about 10 R's fans who all live near Hook Norton (home of an awesome brewery, makes sense). Is that any of you lot?
No stated source and can't see that happening considering the other teams that are after him. If they want him out for a season to improve, they would presumably want to get him amongst the best selection of players they can, though I suppose he'd be more likely to get into our squad than the others mentioned. No idea, but I would be happy to have him.
As a prelude, this isn't a dig, just a genuine question. I have a decent amount of respect for people who have attempted to channel supporters' dissent into statements and meetings with the club (and at the same time, I would not want to put down dissent from those operating outside of the 'official' groups, and their own dissent).
Has there been any statement from our supporters' groups on the ticketing prices, Paladini's continued employment after this latest blunder, the sacking of Saksena/Bhatia leaving? Are there any plans/discussions about what we could do? Will there be a forum on this?
I really think that the first thing that should happen is some kind of public forum where those who are unhappy with what's occuring at the club can network, plan and make a collective announcement. QPR 1st would seem to be the logical choice for this, in terms of already having links and people who are apparently willing to fight the supporters' corner. But if not, can anyone think of a suitable venue for such a meeting?
As the first step, i'd personally like to see a commitment to the planned 4th June demonstration and get it publicised. I am not naive enough to think that a demonstration like this will sort this all out, but it does give people the chance to take that first step, get together with other fans who feel disenfranchised, and work on what could be the next useful step.
Thought you might find this funny - Alan Smith has apparently pissed off his girlfriend pretty badly, so she's hacked his twitter account, and is slinging out bits of amusing information all over the place, so enjoy it while it lasts...
(Fans coming back off the pitch, R Block flag unveiled)
Just some quick videos from the game today for those who weren't there/want to relive it. So proud of the club, the players and our fans today. Still hasn't sunk in yet. Pleasure to meet you again too, Clive.
Never had to sort out flights before, and there seems to be about a million places offering supposedly cheap flights, but i'm sure you lot have found some bargains in your time. So any advice on good websites to check out for cheap deals? Basically need a flight from Belfast to London and back at the end of April, no frills or anything.
Was reminded of this with the football ground thread - seen some weird things at half time around the country, as well as some impressive stuff - what's your favourite.? I wasn't at (Hartlepool..?) away, but remember some stories involving a deck chair or something, unless i've gone mental and imagined it...
For me, my favourite was, I *think*, at Wycombe away a few years ago. Some gigantic fat male crooner came on the pitch at half time to serenade everyone. QPR fans immediately started to drown him out with boo's. He turns around and flicks the V at us, starting a massive torrent of abuse. Think he eventually gave up, was amazing.
Also think it's worth mentioning our own Tiger Cubs coming on at HQ now and again. Seems to mean so much to the kids to be having fun on the pitch, and the reception from the fans is also great. No matter how good or bad things get for QPR, that's one of the many things that make me incredibly proud of our club.
Definitely think it's important to talk through this FA stuff. But if you are feeling crap about all of this, this video always made me laugh. Sir Les being a legend as per.
Just back (and as precursor to this sounding like sour grapes etc., think we didn't turn up, and Millwall took advantage very well, fair enough), and other than the result, my main disappointment was the atmosphere.
Enjoyed the away end, was good to see a load of R's there, but the Den really aint up to much is it? Beating the league leaders in a London derby and they barely make a noise - and if they do, they've only got 2 songs (if you count that monk noise as a song...). The lot nearest the away end had an average age of about 15?!
Thought we'd have some good songs back and forth, but they were sh*te.
Edit: And nice to meet you Clive, albeit briefly! Was drunk and confused, apologies.
