The main problem as we well know is the obscene money paid to mediocre players. Aygemang and Bothroyd driving massive Bentleys, ridiculous.

The money paid to players is not their making, it is the owners and directors of the clubs with the fans aiding the market in allowing the clubs to operate in such circumstances.

The lowering of ticket prices at the top end of the game would make no difference to the game as a whole, matches sold out now, will still be sold out, there is only one way to restrict the excesses that are now rife, stop buying the subscriptions to the sports channels, that is where the real money comes from, absolutely no chance of that happening so changes will be a long time coming, you 5reap what you sow.

Personally I detest giving money to the Murdochs.

Most thing they touch end up with some sort of lingering stench.

Andross Townsend over the moon to sign a 4 year deal for 15 grand a week verses QPR begging SWP to sign a 4 year deal for (guessing now) 55 to 70 grand a week.2 years ago.

TV money could be used by the clubs to subsidise the real fans. It doesn't have to go on piss poor footballers who do nothing about honing their skills. As we know from recent experience that are not very good and can't even handle the basics.

Crunch a few numbers. Premier TV money for Loftus Rd massively beats gate money, so it is obvious that an owner would invest in the short term on expensive players.
