One thing he wasn’t was ponderous. It amazes me how many swans “fans” love to besmirch his ability, he was a legend for this club.
He wasted what was a god given talent during his formative years by chasing skirt & drinking too much but he was still head & shoulders above every other player in the football league ability wise with the goals to back it up.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing but a lean Trundle with his head screwed on that we saw at his last stint at the club would have scored more goals than Lita, Schecter, Moore & possibly Graham combined.
