Must have made a quick recovery. Probably not worth rushing him back anyway with his record.

I think he could do a good job in the Championship so good to see he has made a recovery

He's not in the 25 man squad anyway

Says he's nearly ready to return to training, will need several weeks of training plus u21 games before being anywhere near ready to play again, by which time we'll be relegated already, so hardly an error by HR to leave him out.

Will be needed next season.

I find it very difficult to even think of Andy Johnson as a QPR player.

What a preposterous purchase he was.

Thought he was great in those early games myself. Though it's all a bit of a dim and distant memory.

Had he not got injured when he did and stayed fit I think his style of play would have helped the R's gain more points over the season.

It was a mistake given that we gave what would have been his spot in the 25 to DJ Campbell who was then immediately sent out on loan. Even if we're down by the time he's fit, he could have a few run outs in dead rubbers before the end of the season to help get his fitness and sharpness back in readiness for next season.

Yeah, he made a definite difference when he was fit, but nobody on this board I don't think would have EVER bet on him staying fit all season.

To me it was just throwing money away.

He can be loaned to Championship clubs until that particular loan window shuts?

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

Surely the only way he could ever be sold for actual money is if a club does well in the interview process and are fortunate enough to get the OK from Hughezzzz to be their new manager.

I've got the Power.

Zamora is already out for next season. AJ will play two games then get injured. Leaving us with Betty and DJ

It was a ridiculous signing, that injury was always on the cards. Might be useful next season for a handful of games.

Wish I could be like David Watts

It's not worked out well but if he gets fit and we can afford to keep him it might work out well for us because even at his age he'll score prolifically in the Championship if he can string a run of games together. A lot of ifs there but I'm not writing him off just yet.

Ludicrous signing. Last season in 35 odd games the only Premiership goals he scored was the hatrick against Rangers. Got 7 in the Europa Cup. The season before he got 3 goals in 29 games.

Yep.Signing AJ. combined with offloading Hellguson was ridiculous even for Hughes. One of his worst.Showed his arrogance . Probably thought he would do the old laying on of hands.
Kunt.( Hughes not AJ.)
