Well I went to Dave's funeral yesterday and I have to say he had a Very Good Send off.
There were so many ex footballers there including:
Stan Bowles, Gerry Francis, Terry Venables, John Hollins, Frank McKlintock, George Graham, Sammy Lee, Stuart Huston, Peter Taylor, Mike Kelly, Terry Neill, Dave Webb, Joe Jordan, Trevor Brooking, Ray Clemence to name but a few.
Spoke to a few of them and they all said what a Gentleman he was.
Was funny at one time I was talking to a Young ( 14 ) family member who asked me if there were any Footballers there!!!
I told him if any of the above ( with the exception of Huston ) they would all be worth upwards of 20 mill each in they were playing today.
