White British marched into countries and imposed their laws on them
Then they raped the land of its wealth
Then they left leaving nothing but strife
They deserve to pay and suffer
Yeah baby

Poll: Christmas. Enjoyable or not

The guidelines were drawn up by the Sentencing Council.

It’s about to be overruled by the Justice Secretary.

As it should be , how anyone thought that was a good idea and wouldn't be challenged is in the wrong profession.

Rule of thumb.

If anyone says "you won't see this on mainstream media" is usually talking bollox.

Agreed.

It’s just a bit strange that the barrister chose to have the Justice Secretary and Starmer in the thumbnail.

Could be politically motivated, could just be for clicks.

Maybe l can understand the Justice Secretary,Starmer not so unless because of his previous role within the CPS although not relevant today .

The blackbeltbarrister aka Daniel Shensmith. Often has Starmer in his YouTube videos as a thumbnail.

It's totally political, especially in this case.

Fortunately, the Justice Secretary appears to be as alarmed as the critics. Shabana Mahmood, told the House of Commons,: “As somebody from an ethnic minority background, I do not stand for any differential treatment before the law for anyone. (...) There will never be a two-tier sentencing approach under my watch or under this Labour Government.” She said she wo;; write to the Sentencing Council to “register my displeasure” and “recommend reversing this change to the guidance”. What is worrying is that there seem to be sections of the judiciary and the chattering class who think this is a good idea.

As you say, some people thought this a good idea.

There is clearly a two tier policing.

I raised the issue of Bristol city abusing elderly Welsh shopper's in Cardiff with filthy ethnic slurs. They were singing filthy chant all day without any y pretece of humour or banter. Some were drunk and presumably on drugs.

The FA have charged them on abusive chants aims at Vincent Tan Cardiffs Muslim owner. The Welsh football people have no backbone unfortunately.

How Two Tier is that ? His people complained presumably..

It may come as some surprise but not every thread is about you ., we know you don't like sheep songs directed at grown men who have much more important things to worry about , we get that we really do but to be reminded every day becomes a little tiresome.

A good example:

Abuse Cardiff people - no real action
Abuse Malaysian person - action

The issue here is abuse of other people.

I've got an idea, how about when people are taken to criminal courts they aren't identified in any way. They are literally anonymous to the court who will only be told what they did and have the evidence presented. Then there can be no bias because of ethnicity or religion.

Didn't they always used to say that justice is blind?

Quote by Matshona Dhliwayo: “Justice is blind, until a judge gives it eyes.”

The law and justice is already heavily skewed in the favour of women. It’s remarkable in 2025 that women are still winning 95% of all custody cases on what is essentially a gender bias based on old fashioned assumptions that women are automatically better carers.

Women also tend to get shorter sentences than men for similar offences and women’s prisons are a lot nicer. If they have kids that’s taken into account and they often avoid custodial sentences altogether whereas men usually don’t.

Well you're right, I know it from my own personal experience. How can a rampant alcoholic be given custody ahead of a non alcoholic parent simply because she's the mother?

Equality is a myth, wherever you look equality doesn't really exist, there is always favouritism or discrimination...don't get me started on the inequality oif "positive discrimination" either.

The legal system is filled with anomalies and every day courts try to manouvre through them the best way they can hence the saying, the law is an ass.
