If the incoming Director of Football is his ex-colleague from Notts County, as has been rumoured. Then I think his position is safe for quite some time

I’m hoping above all hope that they’re just words R.

A bit like the official vote of confidence which is usually followed by the sack.

To be fair, at this moment in time he has to say positive things but I’d be incredibly surprised if he meant them. Time, which we don’t have a lot of will tell.

Ok I will admit to being a rather arrogant chap and one who hates being patronised .
Coleman and the lot of them are doing just this
In my 75 th year on this planet ,I know a little about BS . I’ve played the card myself

Oh,for a little honesty . It wouldn’t hurt and our fans would respect that and support our club in its current state .

A longwinded way of telling. Oleman to xxxxxxx. . He may be a nice man
He may be working hard
He might even care about is job

Fact is ,he’s not badly paid so it’s hard to feel sorry for him and his rank incompetence
As regards ,Jacob of Manchester ,we’ve dodged a bullet but he and e are exactly the wrong players we need and we shouldn’t have ever considered him .
Bottom line , it went right up to the last day of the window .
Again

It sounds like the club should have pulled the plug once they saw his attitude. It might have taught the spoilt, overpaid brat a lesson.

That is my concern also.
It seems to be cementing LW's position when he is walking perilously along thin ice.

If it is the Notts guy, then there would be a conflict of interest between the two. It's very difficult to be objective when assessing a friend who got you the jobs performance.

He’s 19 and making a wild assumption probably I’d say not very bright and therefore has no power of diplomacy. Typical ‘yoof’ of today.

He may have not been interested because he knew well before that he wasn’t coming here and was therefore (not very effectively) going through the motions.

I agree that we dodged a bullet because even if he wanted to come his attitude shows that at the first sign of things going wrong, and he wouldn’t have had to wait long sadly he would have reacted negatively.

He’s employed by Citeh.
He won’t give a feck about tiny clubs in shiholes like Swansea
He wouldn’t have known where Swansea was.
He’d have to check his phone

Today in 1958 the likes of Duncan Edwards died in Munich.

Jacob Wright seems too self obsessed to be anything other than a brief ‘ceefax’ related news item.

Still remember that day Keith hearing it on the Wireless .
It was the reason many took up following Manchester Utd
Edwards could / would possibly have gone on to be the greatest ever England player

I expect Luke will be here for a few months especially if the Notts County DoF is heading in.

The Clubs' loss and one that they can ill afford , as Jackmanandboy said " somethings got to change " its looks like its not the Manager but maybe his style of management who knows but should this guy roll up from Notts county whose to say anything will improve , will he take advice?

I know there’s a Notts County link but I’d not imagine it written in stone that just because this DoF is coming, LW is safe. And I’m going to keep telling myself this!!

Said before if Fireboy has packed in watching live then then we truly are in a downspin.hes a fella who lives 250 miles away but gets to home game regularly . Yet,this toxicity remains .

Having read it I feel I have no choice. I was planning the next few away trips too but as long As nothing changes then I won't be going to watch the Swans either.

Coleman has to take notice of the unrest and the absolutely dire run of results. The fact that it drove Grimes away when so many were convinced he'd never leave says a lot. I won't get into name calling, most know my opinion of Grimes but the evidence says tjhat he approached Coleman and made his concerns clear, then he's off as quick as he can, with Coleman still supporting Williams who can blame him?

We are circling the drain, LW doesn't have a clue and his approach, to call his own team rubbish on a regular basis shoukd be enough to get him sacked. It's as if he wants to be sacked or he really is clueless about man management. They won't improve unless he changes things up, changes training, changes tactics...he doesn't seem capable though. He only knows one way.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall for his pre match and half time talks.

I bet I could do better and I was a rugby player, at I'd instill a bit a fire in their bellies.

Aye, there's a big difference between always labelling them rubbish and urging them to be better.
