Not convinced on Fisher, think he was caught up so much on the passing out mantra which lead to poor performances and it shot his confidence completely.
Maybe Duff can instill some confidence back in him.
Darling on the other hand, there is a player there who we could use. Had shown glimpses, needs to focus more on the basics and less on total football. something I can see Duff moving away from. | |

Difference between Darling and Wood performance as centre back, Wood played on the left side Centre back in a back four where as Darling played a great deal in a back three, funnily enough when Manning dropped back into a fullback position during games earlier in the season we also had a run of winning games with Wood playing rightback and Naughton stepping in when the regular midweek kicked in.
Darling, Cabango and Wood are all good CB, Darling and Cabango are better aerially and more of a threat up front.
Wood played well on the right more or less as a full back in the earlier good run and was really only left exposed when random substitutions occurred giving him no protection or cover.
Think the primary reasons we conceded goals from corners was due to the setup employed as requested by the set piece coach. | | | |
