The disclosure of personal details or previous posters info or usernames is in clear breach of the sites guidelines and must stop now. It is damaging to the forum and all the hard work that has been done to the point of being the go to site for swans info in vast numbers. Let’s not damage that further.
Remember our goal here and the charity links.
Banter is fine but the last few days have become a bit strange and not what this forum is about. It may have been acceptable before I took over but it isn’t now. Those days and I thought those people have gone. I don’t need to keep saying this surely ?

there are many who post on here who actually will know who it is behind the user name...they maybe old mates, travelled to games together,got to know each other over the years at the ground or away games but also there are many here who people wont know, just as at the ground can you say you know everyone sitting in the West, or south or even the East?
Why is it so important to know who is behind the user name?
This forum is there for all of us to discuss mostly football onions about the club we all feel so passionate for which is why some of us post what we do though it is sometimes deemed negative as it is opposite views to others who are happy to accept substandard performance and results....but then we all are entitled to our opinions.
Ever since my first game I have yet to attend a match even when all is going well where there hasnt been a fellow supportewr who had something "negative " to say about the game...possibly the player they have chosen as their pet "dislike"...but often there is a little banter maybe heated arguemtent but it never deteriorates into the sort of psoting that happen here.
Everyone is hiding behind a screen because it is not possible for everyone to know everyone so whats the issue.....Im certain if you met me you wouldnt be as personal and abusive face to face?
There are issues on here of data protection too so we have to be careful....and why should anyone want to share personal details even in a DM with someone they only knoew on a website?
Its time for htis nonsense to stop....there is fault on bith sides....BUT one side ialmost always resorts to abuse and insult when thier arguement failswhilst the other is determined not to give in to what is bullying.
We alll calim to be passionate about the Swans we will never always agree Ive seen that in 47 years if attending games... The difference is in the old days the "disagreements" would end after the game maybe rumble on to the pub but had receeded by the next game...these days they can go on and fester on here
Isnt it time on the eve of THE MATCH to draw a line under the past and unite .....yes we will end up disagreeing ....I still dont rate Martin and if we win tomorrow I will stillnot be convinced but I will not get personal with anyone who disagrees I will try reaonsed arguement with data and evidenceand if that fails I wont insult....lets all try to do the same |  |

Agree. Lots now saying this site is a laughing stock, which is a shame. Until Keith gets rid of Parnussus then it will be dragged into the gutter. A shame, as I can see and respect why Keith is doing it. But Parnusses, banned at least 60 times in the past, will keep dragging it down.

There's always been disagreements over the years but posts were also balanced with some humour. Imo that balance has long gone, the football is less enjoyable but do forums have to go the same way?
