I don’t get where this ‘tore us a new one’ vs Charlton comes from. I was also there that day and it was Ademola Lookman who was incredible. Only player that shone on either side.

I thought he played well yesterday, both halves although better in the second.
I think your comment about not knowing what sort of player he is meant to be is quite interesting because I wonder whether the managers know what he's best at.
He's played a couple of positions for us and doesn't seem to have one particular skill which he is better at than any other midfielder. He appears to have all the attributes of a good midfielder so perhaps he needs some game time to establish where he fits into the team, show SM what he has to offer and how he might be used to greater effect. |  | | |

Yeah sorry mate wasn't having a dig - I just see that game quoted a lot and I just don't remember him being stand out at all.
However it is true that he came to us with a reputation a very exciting young player. Apparently very big clubs were looking at him.
