One of my earliest TV memories is watching Sunday night at the London Palladium when I was about 4 or 5, 'Brucie' was the compere.
Another thing he did not mentioned yet was a one man show in the late 70's. Wasn't really my thing at 18/19/20 but older folks who saw it said he was multi talented, a British Sammy Davis Jnr. Not sure but I think he even played the drums.
A long successful career, there won't be another like him.
Saw him in his one man show in the Haymarket in London in the late 70s, I think. A multi talented man and not many like him left.

great entertainer , recall watching play your cards right, generation game , price is right you bet etc , he had the knack of everyone liking him from mums & nans to builders , bankers and everyday blokes, he just made you smile now you have untalented oafs on Towie, BB , love island , made in chelsea, Geordie shore and other assorted reality crap polluting our Tvs where did it all go wrong RIP sir brucie
