No, just left him out as he never got the chance to be coached by Hilly. Yes we've benefitted from his sale and may do even further but Hilly didn't have much to do with his development.

So if it's that version, it could be 25% of about £8m (once the original fee is taken off, could be a bit more), then 25% of further add-ons. So if they get, say, £100,000 for him playing 10 games, we get 25k and all the other bits included.

Poll: Greatest Ever Dale Game

To be fair it actually sounds much more believable. But we'll see. No matter what the details if it goes through it'll be great for the club.

More or less I'd say it's.........

25% of £8.25 million to start with (taking into account the initial Brentford fee for Hogan) and then a further 25% of any subsequent increments as they are reached by whatever criteria is set, to a maximum of another £6 million (therefore another £1.5 million in our coffers.).

Dale would receive £2.05 million initially followed ( possibly by a further £1.5 million) = possible total of £3.55 million. 😲

Although the 30% that is also banded around in some quarters would be even nicer!!!

Byeater should really play for Wigan.

No they didn't. Much of the Bywayer deal and 'add-ons' criteria never came to fruition.

Any money we got for Byeater was a bonus - other than him being 6ft 2 he was bang average.

Tbf I've blocked that entire match out due to the trauma suffered.....I only remember Andy Thakeray for obvious reasons.

According to the sports media in reporting on the Hogan transfer...
West Ham are close to landing Brentford striker Scott Hogan in a £15m deal.
The two parties have been arguing over addons rather than an upfront payment of £9m with old club Rochdale due to land 25% of that fee.....

My all time favourite Dale player Mr Lyndon Symmonds

We should also get 25% of add ons when they materialise too.

West Ham are close to wrapping up the transfer of Brentford striker Scott Hogan in a deal worth £15m, having had three earlier bids for the 24-year-old rejected. (Sun)

Ah so they didn't drop him just to avoid a payment due, then said they couldn't afford to pay the rest of the deal, as they had been relegated

He went on loan to Derby after some poor performances and a slating in the press/media. He never made an England appearance, which was another clause whereby 'add-ons' were due.
