Blob. I don't think W12's age is relevant here. He's absolutely right that the away crowd have been too tolerant for too long about the dross being served up. 5 wins in the last 49 PL away games speaks for itself. W12 also has a very important role in his little firm despite his tender years. He is the travel coordinator and does a much better job than The Messiah does of organising his back 4. The unfortunate situation at Burnley where W12 got lost and went to the wrong station was down to the amount of alcohol he had consumed rather than his age.

Well that's all right then calling someone who holds a different opinion a div and a plum. Can't see where I got the impression of juvenility. Mea culpa.

Insults a bit harsh so will apologise Didn't like it that a handful of people play up and you make out it's the majority of the away end and happens all the time

infighting :( on 10:19 - Feb 1 by Jalfrezi_Rs | we moved 100 miles away from London, years ago. My 2 lads grew up with mates "fans" of Chelsea / arsenal / united / spurs, without ever going to any games ever ! But they have come to QPR games with us. It happens, in our away crowd there will be the handful of non QPR fans out with their (QPR) mates. It must happen at every club. BUT I always worried about their mates having a Chelsea top on under their hoodie, saying something that gives them away etc. I remember one lad having an arsenal scarf (convinced him to lleave it in the car boot) when we went away to Barnsley (arsenal scarf was bad enough, but he didn't even get it about it being red and white when we were going to Barnsley). Some lads (teenagers and men) don't go to games and have no idea. I find that quite sad really. When I grew up we learnt to be a bit sharper when travelling away from home, street wise I guess. I don't condone the fighting, but if the guy did have a Chelsea screensaver WHAT A PRATT and the QPR fan he went with needs to think carefully when taking non-qpr fans to games And for anyone who is shocked by what happened, try going to Stamford Bridge and wearing a QPR top in the home end. |
yeah you might fall over a tourist or get a prawn sandwich thrown at you...wouldnt fancy it in the north stand in the 70's though. Edit they dont even have a home end anymore do they? [Post edited 1 Feb 2015 12:51]

| I know almost nothing about the Premier League even though I try to catch the big games every now and then at the end of the season. But I will say this, Queens Park Rangers is just a fukking sick ass team name. Just sounds so cool. |

infighting :( on 10:33 - Feb 1 by Hayesender | You sound like you're condoning it? At the west Brom home game, there was a teenage lad sat a few seats away from me with a Chelsea bag. At no point whatsoever, even after a few Czech beers, did I feel the need to abuse him or give him a slap/spit on him. One of my best mates years ago was a spurs fan, and he used to come to loads of away games with us in the 90's |
Im not condoning it, if I was I would have been happy if my lads mates got pelted with coins, spat at and punched when they came with us to QPR games. Im saying people should have a bit of common sense when they go watch another team, especially if its an away game.

Looking at a phone which happens to have a Chelsea image on it is over the line? Anyone who is so mentally incapable, either through drugs, alcohol, or just basic stupidity, that they can't cope with standing near to someone who is potentially a fan of a rival team without losing their temper, probably shouldn't be allowed out in public, let alone near a game of football. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Showing any form of fandom towards anyone other than the team supported by those in the end with which you share really is stupid. No I do not condone any fan violence, I am merely aware that sitting in the home end of another team while QPR are playing and displaying my allegiance in whatever way may well lead to my getting a slap. I wish it didn't happen, I don't want things to sully the good name of Rangers but as with most of these things it's a minority letting the rest of us down.

No, stupidity is reacting violently to something that trival. Things will never change while any small concessions are made to these thugs. Name them ,shame them and don't let them near a QPR game until they learn to interact with other human beings properly.

I suspect a lot of those who are slating it are the keyboard warriors who very rarely, if at all, attend away games. Johnny Vaughan (keeping to the Chelsea theme) has a tag line 'never let the football ruin a good day out at the football' which sums up what a lot of people seeas the match day. The travelling long distances gives many a chance to catch up with mates, family, sons etc have a few beers, something to eat and then put up with 90 mins of dire entertainment. Yes a few may go over the top but its not all of us The free coach travel is okay but again no seat tickets are issued so its sit where you want so dont moan if someone is in the seat you happened to use on the way up. One win or even a point away will see things lighten up, so get off your high horses and enjoy a good day out at the footie Remember, what goes on at football.stays at football!!

I wasnt moaning, but do you think its acceptable to have your 12 year old daughter sit with a stranger on a 4 hour coach journey because someone decides to pinch your seats? If it had been my mate or brother that were split up I wouldn't have had concerns. Still, silly me worrying about her sitting next to some of our away supporters eh.

Cool. Will you let me snort coke, scream bollox into your face, spit at. You and generally act like a retarded cnt? I go to a number of away games and funnily enough don't feel the need to scare, bully or be a massive cnt to people despite catching up with my mates. Still, it's probably difficult for me to see the entire picture from up here on my shire horse.

When I Went to burnley and yesterday on the coach it was problem free, sat in the same seats both ways and left our bags above our seats, the stewards were fantastic kept us supplied with coffee etc, had a raffle for time of first goal and made the journey as pleasant as possible. It's commen decency really to keep to the coach you travelled up on and those who changed should have moved imho.

It's not right as anyone should be able to attend a sporting event regardless of age, but unfortunately football is an exception Spitting, throwing coins etc is bad but it's not everyone and doesn't happen every game as some on here would lead us to believe [Post edited 1 Feb 2015 18:57]

She enjoys the away games more than the home games, and we've been lucky and not seen too much idiotic behaviour from our fans, and also no trouble from the home fans either. She even enjoyed the cattle truck home from Yeovil last year.

infighting :( on 11:09 - Feb 1 by toboboly | Getting the bus up from the station was horrendous. Completely surrounded by a bunch of remedials on a rare day trip out from their padded cells. Complete bunch of gutless tosses out on the piss but with less iq than the percentage of the fruit cider they were drinking. Grown men who should know better and fourteen year old pricks who would shit themselves if they came face to face with an actual fan from another team without a bus or copper to protect them. I dislike a huge swathe of our fans, and they were noticeably absent until very late on in the NW promotion year. |
Couldn't agree more with the bus journey a really good idea spoilt by a load of 15 year olds and a few old men signing songs about Harry Roberts, no need, the old bill were friendly and not being rude, if these kids were faced with trouble they would s**t a brick but think they are ok as 6 of them. Sorry to hear about the man and his wife, no need for crap like that.

Funny though, having a Supporters Club passenger on mine rather than the 'official' bus, and a Stoke lad on the way back. I can't believe that on the club run coaches there would issues such as mentioned. Surely, just asking the question' Excuse me. Do you mind if I sit next to my daughter?' is enough. As someone who has run a few over the years, it would not be up for discussion, and frankly if anyone disagreed they would be making their way home from the hard shoulder, not that I think anyone in their right mind would. Getting yourself comfy for a DVD of 'The Inbetweeners' must be on some sort of '100 things to do in your life list'?
