Son, oh you are a wag. It was a direct response to your Hartson comment. Anyone can have a good game.
Maybe he was good for the first half of the season, it didn't help much and he disappeared after that.
Well, when I say disappeared, I mean in a football sense as he actually was noticeably larger around the middle, later on.
Maybe we should blame your manager for that, for not using him properly?
As he obviously has talent. His WC performances show it.

I'm sure you're aware of it being a team game SON, we weren't good enough and that's it. One minute you say he had one good game then in the next breath you say he had a good first half to the season? Talk about contradicting yourself.

He is a good player, the wc only confirms it, well maybe not to you but that is only to be expected son.

This is true, I spent 90 mins watching him control the entire game at Lego land... Without him they would never have won that game & he was rightly lauded by Big John...

And although one game doesn't make a season, his ability to read & control the game cannot be discounted either...

He had more than one good game but i accept what you're saying.

First half of last season Medel was great for us but after Christmas i thought he got discouraged by the events surrounding the club just like the rest of us. I like the way this lot are dissing Medel when their very own John Hartson give him motm in the first derby, different class was his words.

Discouraged? Rubbish.

The problem was, the change in the style of play meant Medel was far more isolated in his role the second half of the season. Did his form dip? Yes. No doubt about that, it didn't help when the rest of the midfield went missing.

Poll: 94th minute; Medel does Charlie Adam, causing a career ending injury. Do you..

Good try butt. But I never said he'd only had one good game butt, and I'm taking your word for it about the rest, butt.
But you know what they say butt. But then again, butt, maybe you don't.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

But anyone can have a good game butt, did I say somewhere he was rubbish all season? I didnt see enough of him to judge, I saw him twice, at the derbies. Which by your admission was representative of his season!
I thought you'd learnt to expect some stick on here?

I'm surprised that he wasn't tried by Gunnar Graham in defence or, by the Malkman, as a sweeper behind his 9 man defence.

After all, he was a wheezing slow fat poodle in the midfield and Cardiff's usual defence was so cack anyway. I suppose on that basis though, they could just as well have tried him up front.

I don't know why The Dwarves are getting so touchy on the subject of Medel. Yes, he has had a great World Cup playing in a system that suited his team, but he'd be crucified playing that role in The Premier League.

He was nothing more than fat & mediocre for most of last season, but this tournament and his performance will ensure he's never again seen in the (not-so-)famous Red shirt.

Your words 'one match does not a player or season make'. I said he had a good first half to the season. You do the maths son.

As for stick? You're not even scratching the surface.

With little Leon and in our squad ? I don't think so. Medel isn't fit to lace his little boots.

Saying that, I am jealous of Cardiff City fans. I'd love to watch 2nd division football in a half empty stadium next season. You Cardiff fans don't know how lucky you are!

We are lucky as half empty or not we will probably still challenge you for best average crowd as you well know. Remind me, for all your premiership years have you had a better average than us?

Oh and our national team play here, wonder why?

Funny you should say that, was just thinking Medel would be pretty decent in the Leon role. Would ideally want someone a bit younger though. And less ugly.

Huw Jenkins... Nuff said!

The most amusing thing is that really is the very *best* you've got. Oh, and capital city status, natch.

Medel in the Leon role? No chance. He's had a decent World Cup playing in a system that I don't think could ever work over here, but was brilliant to watch. I genuinely wanted Chile to win, but I don't want him anywhere near the Liberty.

It would work over here and Medel would excel. As long as you have Vidal and Sanchez to go with him of course.

But, they're bigger than Barca.
So I guess the reason I can't see them on our fixture list, is because they're playing in La Liga next season.
Leave him have his "we get bigger average attendances, we're your capital, we owe far more money than you ever did, we're more of a laughing stock world wide than you'll ever be, we change colours depending on what Uncle Vinny wants, you don't" because that's all that poor little Scooby has to hang on to.
Sometimes you just have to show some pity and heart, even to Cardiff fans...

When you've stopped laughing at them.

If you wake up breathing, thats a good start to your day and you'll make many thousands of people envious.
