It was obvious from Newcastle that Targett needs support in front of him so what do they do - they put Shane Long in and what happens is that Targett is hopelessly exposed and bullied. His confidence must have taken a real battering. So, twice the way the team is set up is at fault. Romeu looks as though he can do a job but he should have been on after fifteen minutes as the problems were glaringly obvious. Crossing practice is a must - Cedric, please note. Wanyama and Davis could not cope with their line of four behind Lukaku and what has happened to Jose? He's been a shadow of what he was last season in both opening games.
We're off to a poor start and we have to hope that we don't get into a real slump before the cavalry arrives in the shape of Clasie, Bertrand and a proven CB. So many of the clubs that we would expect to beat have strengthened whereas the Saints are looking weaker than we were. Let's hope it's a temporary glitch. Hope our Danish opponents weren't watching because they're likely to employ similar tactics to Everton.

Comfortable win, not much opportunities for palyers to really stand out as the game was played more like a training session.

Totally outclassed today. Seventh place will be an astonishing achievement if this is what our new improved squad has to offer.

Very poor performance all round. mind you we were playing with just 9 players (Long & Davis just as well have sat in the stand for the use they were).
Only plus I could see was that Romeu looks a good prospect, can't help he must be thinking WTF have I got myself into here?

Hopefully just an all round bad day at the office

Shambolic pre-season, unfit players, shed load of new signings, bewildering substitutions, conceding late goals

Lessons learnt? Seems to me we have been here before..

More worrying: Surrendering a 2 goal lead at home will give every championship side the confidence that we can be easily beaten home or away

And right now it seems we can

On this evidence we won't get anything at the Molyneux Wednesday. 1 point from 3 games.

Patience....

I's already been said, Targett too slow, out of his depth and offered no cover from Long, who drifts into the middle too often. Yoshida works hard but struggles with Targetts indecision. Cedric gets forward but leaves gaping holes behind him that Tadic cannot cover, which in turn exposes Fonte. Davis is much better linking play than breaking up the opposition. Romeu looked better next to Wanyama.

Referee looked fairly intent on giving Pelle nothing.

Everton executed a good game plan and worked at our weaknesses.

Indeed there is some work for Ronald to do.

Strange decision making form the coach undermined this game Went into a 2-0 undeserved win and could have won it by 2 or 3 more
Great goal from Cardiff to equalise-was on the cards as Ramsey went defensive with 25 mins to go
Saw some pormise but also a lot of poor control and passing which handed the game back to the visitors
Could have been the last we see of Austin -worked tirelessly
Liked Luongo and Gladwin although the latter faded badly
Think the rebuild will take time -lots of time

There is no denying we were lucky to be ahead, the late equaliser was the least that Cardiff deserved and a win for us would have masked bigger problems. We lacked a lot of cohesion and seemed disorganised for much of the game, a lack of energy appeared to be an issue as well especially towards the end of the game. Totally understand why there is a call to give CR time but he doesn't help himself with odd substitutions and some poor post match interview's which suggest to me he may find it hard to motivate the team. Definitely in for a tough season just hope Ramsey has the tactical nouse to see us through but his lack of managerial experience really worries me.

Another year where we will be on a relegation scrap.

Fully expect us to be in bottom 3 by Christmas, then we will see if Tony F is still interested in the club or whether he will leave club to just see what happens? If we go down again I fully expect him to throw in the towel.

Tony F is a great businessman but his venturing into the sports arena has been nothing short of a clustf++k whatever he has got involved with. If he had run QPR like he runs AirAsia we would not be in this mess

He's a nice bloke, truly a very nice bloke but thats been his weakness throughout his tenure at QPR. We have needed someone as hard as nails and someone who knows football, who knows what QPR is about. He isnt and he doesnt.

I worry for this season
