| Forum Thread | Anyone lost a season ticket? at 20:56 21 Dec 2014
Found a season ticket on Uxbridge Road, hoping to track down owner to return it before Palace game. Name on it is Mr W Jacob. Cheers for any help tracking him down. |

Opening day of Prem season is a reasonably big occasion. Ah well, so long as everyone gets behind the team and makes a racket. Think it is a good thing that the club encourages us to create a partisan atmosphere to be honest. Embarassed to admit that we do often need encouragement in that respect. Don't think it should be beyond us to try and recreate the atmosphere of the playoff semi for every home game. |

As an aside, Andy Impey was at both legs of the playoff. Said a brief hello to him as leaving the away game, then saw him again coming out of the Ellerslie on Monday. Fair play to him, in with the Rs fans no airs or graces. |

Think the change was more to go 3 at the back - Hughes, Dunne & Hill - and add Benayoun to make 5 in midfield. Reflected the two players' performances that BAE got hooked ahead of Traore though. Hoilett and Traore the only two plus points as they did cause probs all game. If only Austin was in the box to get on the end of some crosses. |

I know Viagogo is not very popular and there is good reason why, but it is at least useful in situations like this where you can't make a game. You can sell your seat for slightly less than the value of a matchday ticket and at least recoup some of your loss. Better than nowt. |

Nothing against it. Nearly everyone likes red & black away kit but from a marketing point of view they need to have a bit of variety or no-one would buy a new kit each year. Reckon it's a good idea to push the hoops as our brand identity but allow for different styles & colours of hoops on away / 3rd kits. |
| Forum Thread | Half Season Hoops Memberships at 23:12 8 Jan 2013
Hey, Man Utd fans! Come and get your tickets for the QPR home end for just £20 extra! They actually included the tagline "Gain Access to the Man Utd Members’ Pre-sale next week..." I mean they used to have restrictions for games against bigger teams, like you had to have been a member for 6 months prior to the game or something. Now they are actively trying to rinse a few quid more out of people who haven't been following Rangers this season but just want to see the Man Utd game, or maybe Arsenal? Making it more likely that members who have been going a fair bit miss out. Classy. |
| Forum Reply | Anyone sold tickets through Viagogo? at 00:51 12 Oct 2012
Cheers Gic - sounds exactly like what you'd expect to happen, just the website doesn't explain it like that. They seem to be only referring to people selling individual tickets, even though you can't do that for QPR games. Anyway, appreciate you confirming it is straightforward though. Calders - problem with selling ticket on here is I'd have to arrange to give someone my season ticket then get it back after. Viagogo does seem useful for not being out of pocket if you miss the odd game from season ticket, but I hear Arsenal's Ticket Exchange system is fairer in that you can only sell at face value on there. Just seen a QPR - Man Utd ticket on Viagogo for £200. Hope no-one pays it. |
| Forum Thread | Anyone sold tickets through Viagogo? at 22:09 11 Oct 2012
Hi all Has anyone used Viagogo to sell tickets? Can't make Southampton game so signed up with them. Might be my stupidity but the site seemed to be suggesting that if someone buys my Southampton ticket I have to send them my entire season ticket in the post! Obviously that can't be right, but does anyone have experience of selling tickets through that site? They must send out a paper ticket for the individual game, right? But it says it is the seller's responsibility to deliver the tickets to the buyer.... Any advice appreciated. Cheers |

Yep, technically he was on loan at the time, although the permanent transfer had already been agreed and was due to be finalised as soon as the Jan window opened. Real nerve to take that pen. Another big contribution early on from him was the cross for Helguson's last-gasp winner at Palace, shortly after they had equalised. "That's what champions do!", I remember the commentator saying. Tommy has that calm assuredness and an ability to take and create chances when the chips are down. Mainly at Championship level though, as mentioned plenty of times before on this thread. |

I found Bolton's version for Chong-Yong Lee a bit funny 10 german shepherds walking down the street 10 german shepherds walking down the street and if Chong-Yong Lee decides that that's the one to eat there'll be 9 german shepherds walking down the street It is a bit racist, albeit in an affectionate sort of way. |

I like the usual picture of Dyer laughing his head off that gets used every time there is a mention of him getting paid to stay at the club a little longer. |

I think having the sponsor in red always suits our home kits, just like the names and numbers look better in red. I would prefer thicker hoops though. Don't like the away kit but agree it may be with Asian marketing in mind, which is no bad thing. Am I the only one who actually quite liked this season's orange kit? That was a bit different. |

Go if anyone will take him - but at reported £80k a week I doubt anyone would. Yeah now Newcastle letting him go for nowt doesn't seem so odd, he certainly can't be trusted. I don't really get this whole "reinvented himself on twitter as an intelligent footballer" stuff. He mostly just seems to spend his time dishing out insults to people who drive cars or wear clothes he doesn't like. Seems like a spiteful man. But on the other hand he has put in a few great performances this season. If only he could be harnessed and kept in check he would be an asset to the club. Sadly, that doesn't seem likely either. |
