The squad has got us 5th in the league, a collection of different teams throughout the season so far, if I give an effort to turn up pay and watch so support I expect the 11 on the pitch to do their best whatever the game and that tonight was awful to put it politely. |

I'm not happy at all about going out of this competition, I've enjoyed how we've progressed to this stage but thought we were appalling tonight.some players need to take a look at themselves as the teams that got us this far have been fringe players and kids, tonight was a so called stronger side which was nothing but a let down for me. |

I'd disagree with this, we've been a defensive disaster also, just lucky we haven't conceded more, losing by the odd goal has flattered us as on occasions,we could of had some embarrassing score lines if the opposition put there chances away! Bunney, RNL,Odelusi,Thompson is just a joke and it's not bad luck we are where we are. We are where we are cause we ain't good enough and recruitment has been laughable, signing players who turn out to be not good enough can be forgiven, signing players who are not good enough again and extending contracts of players who ain't good enough is unacceptable. |

McNulty is a terrible player at league one standard, no awareness, poor distribution, and offers nowt going forward,always looks lost to me with the ball at his feet. Cannon just wasted at right back, what we lose in midfield isn't worth the sacrifice, if we can play Joe bunney at left back I'm sure there is another alternative at right back. Canavan and mcgahey ok at best,defending ok but again no distribution so no build up play from the back.the defence just don't compliment each other they all look at each other as if any bit of responsibility is someone else's job!! Raff eastham O'connell and Tanser was the best for me for complimenting each other, not perfect but 100% better than this line. How Tanser is not playing at left back I'll never know but as they say"it's a game of opinions" how was Lancashire playing last season before eastham? |

Scott got injured in the warm up v Swindon,he was starting that day, Michael rose replaced him, he was out for 2-3 months.Big Jim played there after Michael rose covered as he got pushed more into midfield .Scott played 11 games last season. So he needs putting back there imo. There are players who are always up for selection no matter how pants they are and some have to work harder for there chance, on the basis Scott actually never got dropped he needs another chance. I've seen some great performances from him and a couple of dodgy ones but at the minute it's a no brainier for me. |

Why have we given up on Scott at left back? Injured at Swindon, out for 3 months then didn't get back in the team as big Jim was doing a job there.this year however Jim has been a liability there and Scott is an up and coming youngster who will make mistakes occasionally where big Jim is a seasoned pro who's making mistakes like a youngster!! This lad has been brilliant in a lot of our games he needs reinstating and given a chance. |

The highly rated left back at Rochdale who is keeping Tom Kennedy out of the side is a lad called Scott Tanser who believe it or not is a Blackpool lad who's a Blackpool fan!! You couldn't make it up. |
