Good article. It's an issue all Saints fans have been debating. He's inconsistent at the moment, but let's give him more time and judge him at the end of the season. After all, it's taken Jay Rod time to play at his best consistently.

The Ugly Inside At The National Football Museum

Yes, we went on the morning of the Saints game at OT. It was well worth the visit. I also saw no mention of our two greatest Managers Ted Bates and Lawrie Mac. Ted who spent 66 years at Saints (probably a world record) and Lawrie who won the Cup for us against all the odds. There was a copy of the 1976 Cup Final programme on display though.
Another glaring omission? Mick Channon, who played 45 times for England (yes, England, this is an English Football Museum!) and like Matt had a special flamboyance about him. Even his time at Manchester City hasnt persuaded the Museum's "curators" to include mention of him. Criminal.

Saints At Stevenage The Verdict

Never posted before, but got to this time! Nick, always find your comments and reports interesting and informative, but CANNOT BELIEVE you dont know the Rules (Laws) of football, that a pass back has to be DELIBERATE for a goalkeeper not to be able to handle it. Are there other Laws you are unaware of?? The referee's decision was crucial here as it changed the game in our favour.
Re Steeeeve De Ridder Nigel said to Radio Solent after the match that he had been injured in Training this week.
Other than this, keep up the good work Nick, you're always worth reading.
