Redknapp never got as many points in a season as AVB's only full season at Spurs though and his win percentage was inferior to AVB's too. There has been a lot of revisionism since Redknapp left. The fact is he wasn't good enough, acted unprofessionally and will never get a job that big again because everyone knows he's not up to it. |

Tottenham can't get anywhere close to the heights of the Redknapp era? What a bizarre comment. The season AVB took over Spurs ended with their highest ever Premier League points tally. AVB may be a lot of things but to even suggest he's a worse manager than Redknapp is ridiculous. He's half his age but won three times the amount of trophies. And to answer the question, what's he doing managing in the Championship? It's because he's a terrible manager that couldn't keep up a QPR side that had spent an absolute fortune on new players. I for one hope he stays in the Championship and continues to play the most boring football the league has ever seen. |
