Apparently the club used the old more games in the Championship line. |
| Forum Reply | Penderyn box at 13:26 11 Feb 2019
I'm not aware of any Penderyn /Council issues, this doesn't mean there aren't any, but I know somebody who deals with Penderyn regarding sponsoring other events and he was told this, I couldn't believe it either if true. |

Out of interest, what are the shots and corner stats, that's a better indicator than holding onto the ball on the edge of our box? |
| Forum Reply | Penderyn box at 12:26 11 Feb 2019
That may be so? but do you think asking a sponsor to pay more money in the Championship than they we're paying in the Prem had nothing to do with it? |
| Forum Reply | Would you have Jenkins back if he found wealthy oil sheikhs to buy out the Yanks at 10:34 11 Feb 2019
Why would we need Jenkins back to help a rich consortium buy the club, it worked really well last time, he should have let the Chinese invest, if that rumour was true, but wouldn't have profited from that, funny old thing, I wouldn't let him in the City let alone the Football Club. If the Yanks want to sell, I'm sure they'll manage without Jenkins sticking his beak in, first thing he'd do is buy Tom Carroll back! |
| Forum Reply | Penderyn box at 10:27 11 Feb 2019
I heard that the club asked for more money after relegation, so Penderyn told them to ram it! Greedy B*****d's as we know. |
| Forum Thread | Snodgrass at 11:46 21 Aug 2017
Robert Snodgrass has been transfer listed by West Ham, poor mans replacement for Siggy, would be a cracking signing, much better option than some of the crap being linked to like Colbeck, as for Bony, I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole, done nothing since he left apart from counting money, and if he did re-sign would mean Abraham on bench. |
| Forum Reply | Walk up crowd at 19:26 24 Jan 2017
It was all down to greed from, the board after promotion, when everyone was saying in Huw we trust, they sold too many season tickets, in case the plastics lost interest, this alienated the old walk ups who for whatever reason, couldn't afford a season ticket, and the next possible bone of contention will be, if the dreaded R does happen, there's no way walk ups will stump up £35, so they'll drop ticket prices and have to face the wrath of season ticket holders, I guess you reap what you sow, but hopefully it won't come to that, just another problem passed on to the Yanks if it does. |

He was way out his depth but, I feel there's been too much player power in the dressing room since the Laudrup days, with Ash and Monk tittle tattling to Jenkins to get him the boot, Monk and Guidolin too were undermined, and the behind the scenes shite is obvious, with Huw thinking he's Sir Alex, so it might be quite enlightening? |
| Forum Reply | Next 6 games are awful at 06:59 4 Jan 2017
Dropping points in these games, bar Leicester won't be disastrous, it's the Boro, Watford, Burnley, Sunderland and Hull games that will decide the future. |
| Forum Reply | The Jenkins out sign today at 08:20 1 Nov 2016
I can't believe the support for Huw, a failed businessman, who has led the board in coevertly asset stripping the playing side of the club, to boost the balance sheet, with an eye on creaming in personally, yet happy to watch two players, that with a bit of effort could have been wearing Swans shirts lastnight, rip us to shreds, slip through his greasy fingers while he counts Yankee Dollars. |

Knowing How's penchant for old boys, wouldn't be surprised if Bony and Caulker rolled up waving their wads of money they made since leaving? |
| Forum Reply | To all those who complain about tickets at 20:23 16 Jan 2016
I've said before, the board were greedy by selling too many season tickets to guarantee cash upfront, thus not leaving a large section of non season tickets for walk up fans, who are unable to sit together and £35 a ticket must be one of the dearest lowest price tickets in the premier league. |
| Forum Reply | Just had a text regards Austin at 13:05 16 Jan 2016
Knackered knee, my arse, 45 goals in 82 games for QPR in two and a half years, in that time he's been out with a shoulder injury and a hamstring, I wish my knee was as bad as Austin's, it's a myth even wet spams chairman said he hasn't got any ligaments in his knee, he'd be a legend down here, but never mind Gomis has marvellous knees. |
| Forum Reply | Striker more important than a manager? at 07:55 3 Jan 2016
It's a myth Charlie Austin is injury prone, just checked wiki and over the last 4 and half season's has played 160 league games scoring 86 goals. But there's no chance of him coming down here even if Qpr agreed to sell him, he's going nowhere. Why join a team in relegation trouble now when in 6 months he'll be able to pick up a cut of the 10-15m his next club will save. Remy on loan would be best or jordan Rhodes, but I agree a striker is more important than rushing in the wrong manager, Curtis has things ticking over nicely bar goals. If Gardiola came in tomorrow where would the goals come from? |
| Forum Reply | Crowd capacity at the relegation candidates. at 09:51 31 Dec 2015
I think you'll find when an established team gets relegated, they are more likely to struggle than the yo yo clubs. Hence the likes of Leeds, Man City, Forest, Coventry, Saints, Qpr, Norwich, Charlton and probably Bolton all dropping to the third tier not long after relegation from the Premier league. |
| Forum Reply | If we play at 16:32 21 Dec 2015
Austin would be a no brainer, but why leave QPR when he's a free agent in the summer and can name his price? |
| Forum Reply | QPR - without stating the obvious, resticted view? at 23:59 30 Dec 2014
Go of M4 at J2, up the A406 to Ealing Common, turn right onto A4020 for a few miles, turn left into Wormholt Road (opposite Princess Victoria pub) plenty of free street parking on it and the roads leading off it. You should be back in Swansea by 8.30-9.00. |
