I guess. Yes very true. In the days when East Germany topped the medal table in the Olympics. The Eastern Block then was consistent. Probably some remember Nadia Comenci when she won many gold medals in the gymnastic arena and got many 10s in her results, which was unheard of, but she was only 14. Was almost a prisoner in the gym, because she had talent. |

In this day of live and let live This lady was an athlete of world class achievements Half a generation older than me and half a generation younger than my old man. Anyhow both of us being keen runners, we admired her sporting prowess but in these days of multiple genders, not sure how many correct chromosomes this woman had but she could run. And what a beauty... Jarmilla Kratochilova https://media.gettyimages.com/photos/jarmila-kratochvilova-of-czechoslovakia-run [Post edited 15 Nov 23:21]

I don't know anything about Jake Paul other than he is a social media "influencer". All I know about Mike Tyson. He is a rabid animal and could not give a s**t if he takes this man's head off. I doubt age will means we have "Mellow Michael". Any man that has the capabilities to tear a man's ear apart with his teeth is going to be at this with all the finess of a raging bull. I know the guy is 27 and Tyson is 58 but he is facing a man that had put everything into channelling his not substantial anger towards his opponents. The only failing might be his own body could not take a pummelling but think if Jake Paul gets hospitalised these show fights will require greater regulations in the future. Someone will unfortunately end up paralysed before such rulings happen. Money talks I guess !!! |

I put it up here, not because I think it's in anyway relevant. Was sarcastically putting it on this site, as I thought it was so unbelievably ridiculous I don't look much at social media but this came up. WOW !!!! As if someone leaving work was bad news !!! Obviously ridiculous post and whoever put it up. How the hell would they know if someone else was in a bit of a strop !!! I thought it was faintly amusing but seems most think I posted this because i thought it was relevant.. Err no !!! ๐๐๐๐๐ |

Shock, horror, horrendous news highlighted on 'X' today. !!! How are we to deal with this. It's another an ultimately disturbing turn of events and tbh I doubt there is any way back from this !!! How can we move forward as a club after this !!! Marti leaves a training session in a bad mood !!! Devastating development !!! Is there any solution to this in anyways ?? ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ [Post edited 15 Nov 11:08]

In the interview with Hoopsa definitely angling for a role at QPR - be that DoF, Coach or Manager. Was happy to come back and do another interview. Unfortunately can't see it happening [Post edited 15 Nov 4:56]

Not sure Warburton is not qualified enough for the role of Director of football Brian. Said at Watford was academy director and oversaw recruitment, data, coaching and performance departments. Clearly is a very analytical man and understands data also. As shown in previous roles. Likes to play an entertaining brand of football and has proven abilities to see something in players that others may not. For me having Warburton D o F and Marti as manager would fit well together. It's an irrelevance as can't see that happening. We are stuck with Nourry in that role. ButI think Warburton massively more qualified to be a Director of Football than our current incumbent and tbf Les had zero experience in football roles outside of playing also... Not sure i agree with lack of experience for role as Director of Football Brian. Think he actually is very well qualified for such a role myself. |

I very much look forward to seeing the Maori warriors come into the Shrewsbury dressing room to get the players up for the fight. A lot of the squad he inherited here felt above this and their arrogance that they deserved a higher level of manager seemed Ainsworth was doomed here at that point. Guy I know where I live, said to me, he is such a nice bloke and he really hoped he could do well at Rangers. Am pleased for him, he has another football job. Hope it works out for him. It can't be denied that he gives everything his all. [Post edited 13 Nov 22:59]

Great interview but Warburton does always speak well. I thought he had finished with football but clearly wants to get back in somewhere Championship level at least Think he would definitely be up for a role as technical director, where he oversees recruitment, data analysis, performance, scouting and also the academy Could see him more likely to get these roles rather than first team coach and clearly I feel would massively suit our club. He is an intelligent man with an appetite for learning and could see him dovetailing well with a character such as Cifuentes Doubt that would happen as Hoos and the like still here. For me would be 100% better than Nourry but probably would be too expensive also. The whole interview almost felt like he was showcasing his talents. Fair enough. I had thought he had retired myself too but clearly not. I was happy with the style and performances under Warburton and felt it was pretty poor he was not offered a new contract. Personalities perhaps. I personally can't see a return for him here but if a club gave him an opportunity I think there would be a decent chance he would do a decent job.... ๐๐๐๐ There was no hidden agenda here, other than to not promote anything at all about what the club are or aren't doing !! Unfortunately it's down to my own technophobic dumb ass attempts to reply to a another thread and after having done so realised I had started a new thread. If its a sinister blanket ban on publicising anything - more like dumb ass fumble on how not to post on a forum !!! What a f**k**g Numpty !!! [Post edited 13 Nov 14:44]

Good luck sir. Shame this job wasn't a good fit. Surprised tbh about him getting another football job but perhaps at this level, he shines. |

I worked for six years for a start up social enterprise for effectively a care recruitment agency. My main role was as finance co ordinator/director/manager etc but eve though i managed to balance the books successfully over my period 5here and at the very start of the venture too, it's a million years away from the role for a managing director / director of football. I was in my late 30s at the.time but the switch from that to the role Nourry is doing are so far from.each other The club collectively lost the plot !! |

I look at Facebook for work, leisure and posts by close friends. X, I only started recently, bit like tiktok full of weird and dodgy videos. Violence and propaganda seem to proliferate. It's awful tbh. My association was brief to the extreme !!! |
