They are 18/1 with Paddy Power next year and I've just had a bet. They have a similar profile to Norwich, in that they have a talented young manager who took over an underperforming team during the season and acheived promotion. Adkins managed to keep Scunthorpe in the Championship despite losing several key players, and with a much stronger squad and hopefully a couple of new signings they should be in with an each way chance. I can't see any of the favourites ie West Ham, Leicester and Middlesborough running away with it. I think Hull with Nigel Pearson in charge and a settled boardroom could be a threat. |
