I've a vague memory of an interview with one of the U21s some years ago in which he said that if anyone was going to make it into the senior squad it would be Bettache. It's a shame it didn't work out for the lad. |

Weren't all the tortoises eaten by greedy English explorers? Apparently they are delicious. |

Tuck's been out on loan at Enfield, though that should be finishing around now. I'm excited to see his development. The young Scot is Rocco Friel and he's a RB. |

I think the Hayden boat has sailed. He was great for us last season but he's not played at all or gone anywhere this season. There must surely be a good reason for that. Also, he'll be 30 in March. I'm all for having some experience in the squad but there must surely be other CDMs with more years to play that could provide that. |

Referees seem to largely ignore players riding on the backs of opponents to gain height when heading the ball. There was quite a bit of that last night. It used to be a fairly common foul. |

I agree a LB on loan would be a good thing. Fox, though, in his career has played at LB three times more than he's played at CB. He's just not very good and I don't think he has the legs to play there anymore. As CB cover he's just about adequate enough. |

This is where good sports science comes in to accurately assess the condition of each player. Personally, I would be in favour of resting those who look like they need it. We have another 3 game week coming up on the 18th, 21st and 25th January. We cannot afford to lose another key player to muscle injury. |

From what I've gathered, many of Luton's own fans would debate that. They seem to see Edwards as the problem but he signed a long term contract last summer. That said, they are in a false league position. Tonight will no doubt be a difficult game but I think we'll manage to secure a tight win. 2-1. |

Agree. 3 points tonight is the priority. Given the way Luton play, it's possible we could see a back 4 of CBs. |

I'm sure we will see Chair play tonight and I hope the club celebrates his 250 appearance. He certainly deserves the recognition. |

Will Marti start Edwards and JCS, and move Dunne to back to RB? Ashby's performances have understandably improved when playing at RB but that should be our best back 4, at least in theory. |

There will be many on this board, including myself, who will not read that rag. |

If the rumour is true I can see it being reliant on his replacement at Palace. They've picked up a bit but still look vulnerable and probably feel the need for reinforcements to help them stay in the PL. |
