Jack Stephens conspiracy theory…

Given the slow motion disaster that has befallen us, culminating in the Brentford fiasco, I cannot help but think that Captain Jack just might have been an expressing a massive amount of frustration with the entire set-up at SMS when he got himself sent off, if not the first time, certainly the second time (although conceivably both). Because had he been playing against the Bees, doubtless he would have been castigated, justified or not; but as he was AWOL, wasn't the entirety of the rest of the team shown up for what they are? ie a bunch of unfit, overpaid, barely Championship players?

So I may be crediting him with more nouse than he deserves, and of course he is no world-beater himself, but I just wonder whether he was also basically telling the world: “Sod this for a game of soldiers, I have completely had it with this load of idiots, they couldn't run a bath, and I want out.”

Dragan Solak has been legged over…

I have been reading a lot on here about the incompetence of SR.
But are we not really talking about billionaire Dragan Solak being well and truly legged over by Ankersen - and Henrik Kraft as well?
Because all the decisions that have been made over the last couple of years have to be laid at the door of the Director of Football surely, be they about managers, or purchases and sales of players?
And if I was Mr Solak, I would be thinking that he has got himself tied up with a couple of guys who have cost him tens, if not hundreds, of millions of pounds.
Of course he knows full well that he isn’t the first billionaire who has been told a load of porkies by a couple of smooth-talking chancers and is now suffering the consequences.
But isn’t now the time for him to show us, the fans, exactly how much HE cares about the club and either
1. Fire that pair of incompetents? Or
2. Sell the club? Or
3. Conceivably both?
