A moment of brilliance but he was still shit for most of the game, and a player in better touch might well have seen us with the game in the bag without needing it. Delighted to still be in it but the lack of humility from Southgate in his post match interviews grates with me, as if this was all part of the plan. He got very, very lucky. I’d love it if he learns from this one and changes things up like he should have done yesterday. We’ll see.

Those annual Christmas gigs at Brixton a few years back were some of the most raucous, joyous gigs I’ve ever been to. Great memories, wonderful music. Rest in peace Shane.

Rowan Vine - maligned by some, perhaps as much on personality - didn’t know him so can’t say - but remember him having incredible close control, sometimes like the ball was tied to his foot, and a decent goals record. For a season at least he and Adjemang formed a pretty handy front two partnership.
